I hope Bramble gets a shot elsewhere, he was done no favours getting shoved into defense where he was never suited

Mate. He was an absolute butcher with the footy when uncontested and under no pressure. His speed is sub par for a wing or half back too

Think he will get picked up but he just didn’t have enough pace, bit like Howe, drafted in the early 2000s both would have been completely different as players

No surprises here, especially for Bramble and Greene after trade period additions. Long maybe a little unlucky that Stephens is contracted as he might have survived otherwise. Both well down the pecking order though.

Would not have been out of place in our 2013-2015 side, but not a player you can build a side around.

Had some stunning VFL stats at times too.

Unfortunately that doesn't mean somebody can automatically make it at the top level.

I have a personal connection to Bramble so I'm biased but I really do wish him the best of luck. Considering where we picked him up I think he has a very successful stint with the hawks. I will never forget his game against GWS in 2021 where he assisted two of Dylan Moore

's last quarter goals and sealed the victory. Looked like a real player then. He is a terrific bloke and a good footy player. All the best mate and same to Ferg and Longy. Worst part of any season is delisting

Slow, no agility, poor at ground level, bad kick, struggled to be a consistent accumulator.

Love for him to make it but I don't see why any club would give him a spot on their list.

I'm glad we bit the bullet and made the additional delistings to free up some list spots.

He was a big lunk...and, yep, cumbersome.

Even Jackson Callow's clunking couldn't compensate for 'cumbersome'. It's the death knell for a modern footballer.

Long really didn't have much of a chance in staying on the list after Husthwaite came in and looked so comfortable at the level.
