Jarryd Roughead 70.42
Jack Gunston 56.24
Luke Breust 54.11
Total: 180.77 (Combined total accuracy is 70%)

Lance Franklin 75.49
Kurt Tippett 33.16
Adam Goodes 28.11
Total: 136.76 (Combined total accuracy is 64.1%)

Tippett has played 13 games for 33 goals. Amazing numbers for a stay-at-home forward with chronic knee issues (on 700k). What about Sam Reid's numbers (a player on 500k?)

When you look at the Swans they have some amazing list management :)

Sam Reid - 17.9 from 19 games.

Amazing numbers for a player that Swans fans claimed was a thoroughbred just 2 years ago! They've sure got an eye for talent haven't they?

I dont think it is possible Echols COLA is a legitimate reason the Swans are playing this week end.
It is, but we don't need to post about it constantly. The game will be won and lost on the field, and no amount of disdain for their player payments will change the outcome.

Absolute garbage coming from a North supporter I know - "how you going to handle Tippett and Reid"?

Tippett = not an A grade ruck or A grade forward.
Reid = Jarrod Waite has more tricks.
Should've asked him how north would handle them, oh wait...

Where did Tippett kick his goals from on Friday night? At least 3 of them were from within 15m and 2 of those 3 were actually marks in the goal square. Can't see Lake and our defensive unit allowing that many easy marks in the goal square. I'm sure they'll catch us out wrong footed once or twice but I'd be surprised if he gets 4 shots from the goal square.

I didn't used to hate Sydney, and to be honest I don't hate Buddy. I love watching him and he was and still is a bloody gun!

BUT.... I really don't want to see Sydney win it. I now have grown a hatred for them due to the advantage they have over the whole competition. I really hate the fact that because they got buddy, they are going to be successful. I HATE THAT FACT! They would of struggled to make top 6 let alone to 4 without him! I really hope we can show buddy he made the wrong call... I really don't want to see them with any success at all! I'd love for them to make the next 4 grannies and win NONE! That rot starts this week!

GO THE ALMIGHTY HAWKS!!!! TAKE THE PREMIERSHIP YOU DESERVE AND THE PREMIERSHIP THAT WILL MARK YOU DOWN AS ONE OF THE GREATEST!!!

What are we thinking about defensive matchups? Lake seems the obvious match up for Tippett. Strong enough to control him and Tippett cannot expose Lake for agility. Buddy is a pain in the arse, I assume Gibbo with help from Spagnher or is it possible to do it the other way around - Spagnher on Buddy with help from Gibbo. Goodes seems to do most of his damage running back into the forward 50 these days - Statton? Could Birchall take care of Reid? He has the height and will destroy him when the ball hits the ground. Get Duryea to lock down on Parker.

Sydney will be doing everything possible to ensure all of the Hawks defenders are busy. If they leave Gibbo to go third man he will destroy them. Equally Clarko will try and orchestrate Gibbo free.

At the other end we need to orchestrate what Clarko achieved against Geelong with regards to Taylor, but this time against Richards. The Hawks have to eliminate their rebound marking. It was a masterstroke against the cats. Can they do it again against Sydney?

Isnt funny how everyone is worried about out matchups with their forwards. I think they have bigger headaches with ours. Grundy is flog, Richards is a s..t c..k, Shaw, well he is Shaw and malceski if made accountable is a joke.

Come on they are great players.

Saying they are not won't help anyone

I agree, our back line is far better equipped to hand their forwards than their back line for our forward line, Richard and Grundy are dead set liabilities.

As I also said Gary Rohan and those types will not be allowed to roam free and play bruise free football like they did on Friday night, everyone getting caught up on Sydney beating a embarrassing North Melbourne on Friday night and forgetting that the team we beat on Saturday night beat destroyed Richmond who were coming off a win against Sydney (no Franklin or Kennedy) and beat Fremantle by the same margin as Sydney did after giving them adn start and did it in Perth.

Not here to troll, was only in here to say well done on getting over Port in a close one and best of luck for the Granny next week.

Then I read the above tripe ..... you young fella or whatever you are, you are an embarrassment to yourself, your Club and to football in general. AFL is a sport, although it be professional and with high stakes it is still a sport that is not BOXING or UFC.

To think that a fan of "The Family Club" thinks yet alone writes crap like that has me wondering wtf has happened to our Aussie culture. Anyway! you may or may not win the fight but you will not win the game if your side goes in with that kinda shit in mind.

Best of luck to all the other Hawks fans, not to Hedgehodgy or his sidekicks who likes that post.

Malceski I will give you but Richards? We're worried about the Buddy match up but god help the Bloodz if Richards lines up on Roughead

I rate Ted Richards very highly, but watching him this year I feel he's dropped off quite a bit. Is he carrying an injury or age catching up?

Wouldn't mind seeing another patented Birchall bump... He had it down to an art form last year.
