Just like last years thread, whatever Barrett has to say is not Hawthorn in the media.

Couldn’t care less for his shit takes, they don’t belong here.

He is the game day MC for the club when it is our home game. He isn’t a development coach for the AFLW anymore - Jack Gunston has taken his spot.

He'll be coaching the Albury Tigers next season. Unfortunately I'd say his duties at the Hawks might be done. It was great that they facilitated keeping him involved.

So, you're suggesting that if Ginni played for the Cats, the media would leave him alone.

I don't disagree but it's an interesting hypothetical.
I’ll say. A football version of:

If you attached a buttered piece of toast (butter side up) to the back of a cat, dropped the cat from a height, how would it land?

If Ginnivan played for the Cats and did something wrong the report would at least start off “former Hawthorn star Jack Ginnivan…”

Unbelievable he didn't play in a losing game from 87 GF until 1990. We lost 3 games in 88, and 3 games in 89 - all which were pretty much the only games Derm missed.
He played in the round 7 loss to melbourne in 88 and the round 20 loss to the bears in 89. Although tbf he never touched the ball in the Melbourne game was injured early.

Who was the Defender GWS were going to trade us? Please let it be Bret Thornton :p

2013 Giants list

So we wanted a key defender more than we wanted bud?

And Sydney wanted buddy more then they wanted mumford which probably sealed their fate as perpetual runner ups

The rest is history

(Buddy boots one last cash grab on the way out eh Bud?) wanted a Quiet life for Markson as manager?
