Given how many sides are in transitional periods at the moment I'd say Geelong are probably odds on to win it again this year as they have such great continuity with their playing group / coaching panel / game plan. And the sides that have similar levels of continuity (Brisbane, Sydney, etc) have shown they are a rung below the Cats.

I think what today is showing us is that it takes quite a while to embed a game plan across a list (especially when the game plan is so radically different to the old coaches).

Its the defensive side of the game plan that is sorely lacking at present
 
Seems like the Hawthorn social media team has had enough and packed it in for the day. No tweets in the last 30 minutes.

Wasn't expecting anything, so can't be disappointed. Even the cliche of demonstrating how much work needs to be done before the club is competitive again is fairly meaningless, because we all knew that heading in to this afternoon.
