With ball in hand we have been pretty poor for the most part.

But what’s been most obvious for me is the difference between the two teams without the ball.

Cats defensive work is much better than ours. Putting much more pressure on our players while also not letting us get out the back. The opposite of what we are doing.

Showing us where we need to get to if we want to compete

Scrimshaw no lock rd 1.

He's coasting, and wasn't he left out of the probables side in the intra as a warning?

Bramble has been getting lots of praise all pre-season and whilst burning it a bit by foot, has been much better today.

Has been a bit disappointing for me, doesn’t do enough around ground, Surprise that Meek hasn’t spend a lot of time in the Ruck

He never does really.

Pretty much the definition of a centre square ruck, it'll be interesting to see how it unfolds as the year goes on.

Think it’s important to remember that outside of us being young we also don’t have our best team on the park. Yes the same with the Cats but being a seasoned team things don’t fall away as it does with us. No matter why this is all valuable game time.

He only needs to play 13 more games for it to be a success.

Hopefully by the time the season commences some other guys start looking like they play AFL footy as well.
You're a young side. Heaps of positive signs.
