Hawks for me, being west Australian I can't stand the purple maggots. Worst supporters at Games, half of the purple army have only now come out the wood work. Full of part time supporters who act like they have bled purple since day dot. I dislike their defensive life sucking game they play, however last night they were impressive against the swans and that kind of game would be entertaining. But yeh I don't want 12 months of docker mayhem over here. And I'm a tigers supporter, can't imagine how the eagles feel lol

Hawthorn. As a Saints fan, I cannot in good conscience support the Dockers. (Ie. Sirengate and stealing Ross Lyon). Otherwise, if I was a fan of any other team besides Hawthorn and West Coast, I would be supporting Fremantle.

I may be wrong, but I think of Crowley and Ballantyne more as pantomime 'baddies', not thugs. They're agitators, but are great footballers and are also prepared to cop the physical stuff back. If Freo weren't playing us, I'd be going for them - for Pav but also because I love watching Fyfe and Walters ( a great tale of redemption). But they are playing us (phew- still recovering from Fri night!!) so smash them Hawks!!

I dislike both teams intensely, i couldn't give a stuff actually. Fremantle should win by 5 goals, but i couldn't give a fat rats toss bag. My Freo friend will be here and i owe him a dinner because those imbeciles Geelong lost a home final, so i'm already annoyed with Fremantle. I can't stand Hawthorn at any time, no one would've been happier than me way back in 1996 if they had merged and were no more. It's a non event this week for me, i think i will work instead.

As a long standing Freo supporter, let me tell you categorically that Harvey would not have got Freo to a Grand Final. Players like Walters, Mayne, Pearce, Johnson, Crowley and Suban would have been delisted or be on their way out the door.

Lyon has transformed a playing list with a few superstars like McPharlin, Pav and Sandilands into an A grade team that is very strong all over the field (something that most clubs do not possess). He is a coaching genius and deserves every accolade and penny he is given.

Freo didn't steal Lyon, your incompetent Board and management lost him by delaying and delaying in offering him a contract in his last year as a coach. Want to blame someone then blame your own club.

And you begrudge Freo for Sirengate? Helpful tip friend, when the siren goes the game is officially over and whichever team is in front is actually the winner of the game. You lost that game because when the siren went, Freo was in front. Seriously lame

Ross Lyon and Fremantle don't deserve it after how they went about getting him there.

Approaching a coach in the middle of a finals campaign is a dog act.
Not to mention how they went about firing Harvey.

Shows how little you know. Lyon had signed with Freo before the finals campaign even started. And he only did so because it took Freo days to offer him a contract at his market worth whereas your club delayed for months. The "dog act" was what your Board and management did to its members through utter incompetence in losing the best coach in the competition.
