i was hoping we could at least win the last quarter and it would have been an acceptable effort. The last was diabolical. Its like we are programmed for maybe 60-75 mins of footy and then fatigue cripples the entire team.

Makes you wonder the coin Jaeger is on if some players are not too happy.

IKR at the end there langford was the only play to spread from the contest, gets the ball rans past many geelong players 4 hawks sit in the goal square 80 from him with there opponents sitting 10 m infornt.

Langford runs out of time and has to kick it, keep in mind nearest hawk 80m away. It drops short.

Simple start. Play the guys in form in the 2's. Play the kids with potential. Drop the 'names' - whoever they are - that out of form. Shiels, Gibson, Bruest. That never hurt anyone. We are getting flogged anyway. A bit of youthful enthusiasm could do wonders and what message does it send if you keep playing players who are going half-arsed?

A rebuild with close losses to be expected but floggings are not.

I am optimistic that the 2nd half of the year should see better results & maybe a win or 2

Mitchell & Lewis wouldn't make a scrap of difference to this. It started last year. Everyone knew it. We just had enough know how to crawl across the line a few times.
For a decade we've given up draft picks for players to win us flags. We've played a month extra finals footy. We've copped the worst draws. We've lost 5 coaches. We've lost all senior staff.
We are year one of a rebuild.
It's patience now. They've lost confidence and today after an ok effort first half the damn wall opened.

Unfortunately flags in 2014, 15 and a shake at 16 is the price we pay for what we see today.
