Who was the bloke from SA who was destined to become a star? Roberts?
Yup. Cameron Roberts. Comfortably in the list of great white hopes (of course the term had been around for almost a century before then).

Hehe. I remember him. He had big wraps on him.Who was the bloke from SA who was destined to become a star? Roberts?
It doesn't actually matter who is playing on a Rioli or Betts, it's actually more about the defensive work our midfielders do. If they are running back hard to fill space or winning the contested ball, then Betts etc start kick chasing in the midfield. This means that Bews or Mackie or Ruggles get less goals kicked on them and get the credit for holding them quiet. No such thing really happened.Yep fair call, but I would rather my Small defender keep a guy like Eddie Betts to a minimal impact, like he did twice last year and then worry about getting more of the pill.
Look at Nick Smith from Sydney; doesn't get a lot of it but neither do his opponents.
The last bit showed them being interviewed in Geelong by Sean Salby (?), so it was probably a constructed ad for the Cats and Cotton On Group, masquerading as news, but more about marketing Cotton On's sustainability model when selling cheap tshirts etc.7 News about to show a few cats players in South Africa... mid-week trip?

He was. Would've been positive to have around the club though.Dwayne Russell being the other SA key forward to come over with a huge reputation. Was very ordinary.
All they needed was a fire starterHe was. Would've been positive to have around the club though.
Could of been 10 goals down with 10 mins to go and he'd still be Geein up the boys telling em it's still game on.

Wow. Not many Cats players from that era without a final.Just don't ask him about finals.
Was at Geelong for five years, and we played in five of them. He was considered for precisely none.
I'm not convinced at all.Mooney reckons it will be a 10 goal Cats win. I'm still not convinced.

If you've ever run along the Geelong waterfront on one of your runs- well worth doing- the bollards are actually brilliant. Is that Harry at CHF?

That's right. They will need a kicking.I'm not convinced at all.
Hawks are too proud a club to just roll over for us I fear.

We were 6 from 7 against those sides last year and we're a better side this year.
Artistic, not architectural. FYI the council commissioned an artist to design and create the bollards. She died a few years agoOne of the great architectural achievements by the city of Geelong?
