You could just as easily go back to the original list by whoever posted it and probably find players on that list who stunk it up in finals too.

Picks are overrated. Unless it’s the stand out number 1 player like Reid or Walsh where you know you’re getting a jet, I think there’d be a large group of players “worth” a top 3 pick purely because you know what you’re getting from them

Anyone under 24 with multiple B.O.G performances in the midfield, a 35+ goal season as a forward or doing well holding down a key position in defence would be worth pick 3 easily.

Nahhh that's silly, not a good metric at all. Rozee has never finish top 10 and Newcombe just did.

Rozee has finished top 15th? I think for the last couple of years and he's got some pretty strong competition in that team for votes
