In a media that is full of absolute grifters Rita is a special kind of low life.

I used to actually like her when she first started on SEN. She was only slightly political, and was more about the sport and social stuff. Then she got on AW, and then the hun, and she went to complete caricature so quickly it wasnt funny

i suspect she's like an Alex Jones. Doesnt believe a word she says, but does it to trigger people and get likes/attention/retweets

Rita’s and RoCo’s child must be a very confused kid.

As if this kind of nonsense doesn't happen on both sides of the media

It happens more often with the absolute shitcampaigner liars in the right wing media.

Rita Panahi is nothing more than a vile, bottomfeeding sewer rat.

Ha! I can take her or leave her, but how good would it be if her current fans heard her early SEN stuff, talking about Meat Ox and why Jason Richardson can't stand cheese on pizza, etc? :grinv1: She was so different back then that some of them would be apoplectic. My grandmother loves her. I've tried to tell her what she's really like, but she won't cop it.,

The sheer number of thousands of Indians/Filipinos that I see every day with my own eyes (outside of lockdowns) going about my business working as bus/tram/taxi/couriers/uber/delivery drivers, in the hospitality/retail industry (supermarkets, servos, restaurants etc..), in the health sector/nursing homes with basic TAFE certification working as nurse assistants and the like, security guards, cleaning industryt etc, etc, etc

The bulk of which are able to get residency via the joke that is the education sector that is used by a large portion of so-called international 'students' as an unofficial backdoor into Australia.

Cool, I knew you wouldn't have one. Despite there being a plethora of right wing organisations that would love to publish such stats if they had any baring in reality.

You're seeing what you want to see. It's incredibly hard for an unskilled immigrant to come to Australia. And even if it wasn't, then I don't see how you could blame it on anything other than the right wing since they have been in power in the only tier of government that controls immigration for 20 of the past 25 years.

That you even bring it up in a discussion of state politics, which has no say or control of what immigration policies are inacted, exposes your blind obsession and hatred of immigrants. You have nothing of value to offer.

Which is why all these stupid rules people are obsessing over is for nothing, all a complete waste of time because as soon as a few cases pop up again in a few months time Victoria will be in Lockdown number 5.

But keep wearing your mask, stay home, qr code, get tested because we need to stop the spread................................until we need to do it all again that is and then make sure you do all that stuff so we can stop the spread next time as well. A revolving door which will never stop while we have this idiotic 0 policy.
Only way to topple the 0 is to get low level covid case numbers in all the other states so they aren’t shutting borders against each other.

Had my first dose of Astra yesterday as i hit 50 earlier in the year, the whole process of getting it could not have been any easier. Made my booking online last Sunday to take place at Austin Health Heidelberg, rocked up yesterday at 20 mins before booking 12.20pm, parking free and everything well sign posted, you cannot miss where you should be, two separate queues, one for walk in ( 1 hr wait time ), and one for bookings, pretty much straight in, present license and medicare card, answered a few questions, then moved to a waiting area, before my arse had hit the seat my name was called ( thought i'd done something wrong :grimacing: ), went through to a cubicle, was taken through all the possible scenarios of taking the vaccine, and my medical history checked. After the injection sent to another waiting room, had to wait 15 mins just in case you have a reaction, whilst in this room you could make your next appt, as i was sitting waiting for name to be called to be released, my next booking arrived via e mail.

Other than being tender in the injection site, i felt a bit weary later in the day, and around 7 last night started to get some muscle ache, took a couple of panadol as advised, woke up this morning and still a bit achy in the shoulder area, but nothing will stop me getting in the garden to do some gardening later on.

For those that live in the dreaded Northern Suburbs i would highly recommend using Austin Health at Heidelberg, my wife goes next week for her Pfizer dose.

MIL with AZ was cool, wife with pfizer had a really sore arm, me with pfizer was headspins fatigue and nearly passed out (bp is usually 90/60, was at 140/75)

I was Pfizer and had a sore arm for I reckon 36 hours post-jab and the day after the jab, felt a bit dusty; not a full hungover feeling but more that ‘maybe I should have stuck to 4 beers not 6’ feeling.

Was pretty fleeting though.

Booked in for the second shot on June 21.

I am enjoying reading about people’s experiences with and/or willingness to go and get vaccinated. Even people who I normally argue with in here. It just proves that deep down, most of us are on the same page.

But you’re all still a pack of campaigners though. 👍
