Until the AFL Commission is represented in a non-Victorian biased manner things will never change. The "outside" states have token representation and, in the past, even our own state representatitives have rolled over like lap dogs.
Their words were, if I recall correctly after 3 glasses of wine at 1130 at night, that if the Melbourne board followed Jacksons plan the AFL would "look sympathetically" at the idea of a priority pick.
I just love the part where they can't even afford to sack their coach, there's some poetic justice about it when all's said and done.I cannot see what sacking Neeld will do after the next 2 games, obviously they are going to cop a hiding.
Unless the players have declared that Neeld has lost them, perhaps they have no faith in him, who knows

Smells extremely fishy. It looks as though the AFL are trying to circumvent a raid on some high profile Victoria based players. They know we are building a considerable war chest. Last thing they want is Buddy to go to an already powerful interstate club.

And I am certain that the AFL acts with all clubs interests in mind equally.
They are a professional organisation with deeply ingrained integrity.

However, I do feel that we are unfairly harsh on our Fourth Estate friends. They are just doing a very difficult job under trying circumstances.

Fck me - I have a reasonably accurate BS meter, and the thing just went completely off the scale
Damn, Bushie - this latest MFC stuff has just made me even more cynical (if possible) about the whole marketing game that is the AFL
Gads, we aren't flying under the radar no more on Fox Footy.
On Teams they just had a massive fap session over Mundy. Parko said he's an absolute gun and Derm said there wouldn't be 4 players in the game that kick it better. Then they all tipped us to win.
Then on AFL360 Whately said he' most looking forward to our game this weekend. Said we are looking rolled gold top 4 certainties and would start favourite in every game from now bar Geelong
I think I like it better when they ignore us, this is making me nervous.
