Ok i just watched the delayed telecast and oh my god Carazzo! He gives away a hell of a lot of free kicks, needs to be dropped to be taught that his spot in the side is not bloody guarenteed.

He was in the best against Port and Collingwood for the backline jobs he did while getting 20+ disposal at 82% and 83% efficiency
Don't embarrass yourself anymore - he is not going to dropped for today's game
I find the most stubborn are those supporters who have players they choose to have a vendetta against

Carrazzo is a soft trier he has no skills either which makes it even worse. As long as people like keep defending players who don't warrant a place in the side we will always be a mediocre team like St. Kilda and Richmond to name just 2. Every player should be made to earn a spot in our 22 and if players like this keep getting away with shit every week we have no hope of getting far.

I think he is saying that players need to know that if they put in a bad performance than they will not be paying seniors the week after. When you have bad games week after week and stay in the side you might get a little bit complacent.

What I am saying is that Carrazzo is a mediocre player along with a few others in the team. As long as some of us supporters/fans keep making excuses for these players they will drag the team down. Carrazzo has been on our list a long time now and yet nothing has improved with his disposals etc. Every week I hear the same shit ohh but he got 30 possies, ohh he won the B&F. We have had 3 duds win our B&F in the last few years so winning our B&F obviously means not a lot. I don't think Carrazzo, Fisher and some others will be on our list and the quicker we get rid of them the better. I hope against hope that Carrazzo can improve 10% but somehow I don't think thats going to happen, Fisher is a great mark and he still has potential but potential is a dirty word. I am happy we have improved out of sight this season under a good coach and some raw talent, but it's time to start trimming the fat of the bones.

But that is my point - a supporter defending a player on BigFooty is not going to bring the team down.
The flaw in your logic is that somehow we as supporters dictate the selection of the team, or who is going to be cut at the end of the season.
We don`t - so supporters can offer their opinions on certain players until the cows come home and it isn`t going to make one iota of difference to the decisions of the club and the match committee.
I think you are under some sort of illusion if you think we as supporters affect selection decisions to any extent whatsoever - so us defending certain players is not going to bring the team down at all, because if Ratten and Co want certain players in the side, they will be there, irrespective of what the supporters think.
I know you are only speaking on his behalf but read the highlighted part below. If Carrots qualifies to be dropped then I figure you have to drop Juddy too (I know Juddy is a champ and Carrots just a goer but let's be fair)

I am not that stupid but I think is time that some supporters stop saying shit like he got 30 possies, he was in our best, he won our B&F lets give him one more chance. Guess what he has been on our list for a long time and if he hasn't learnt how to kick a ball or handpass yet then he has to go plain and simple. For the last 6 years we have had shit players on our list and some of them are still there, time to go. You either earn your spot or you don't it's pretty simple and by the way Judd was concussed today and yet he came back on the ground and tried to get going. Murphy was pretty bad as well with his disposal in the last quarter, but Muprhy is learning the ropes along with Gibbs and co. But as for the others they have had long enough to become better, I don't expect them to kick like superman but hey at least hit the target 20 meters away when the target is open
Come on Alpha, we are not talking dreamteams here - every team will have several ordinary players who just have to be goers. Didn't you think his coming back on and contributing despite concussion was the mark of a goer? I hate to tell you this but I think the club holds him in high regard - they made him designated interviews man last week.

Mate so was carrots. He missed most of the 3rd quarter coz of it. He came back on and i think even you will agree had a very good 4th quarter. Including that goal on the run from 50 with the wet ball. Read my earlier post buddy, even though its a little long

Well he came back and had a go ok fine but he is still a average player and in all that time he has been on our list his kicking etc still hasnt improved. On top of that he is a outside player, but whats so good about a outsider player who gets plenty of the ball but turns it over every chance he gets. No wonder the opposition team don't tag him they know he will give the ball straight back. This is what I ,ean when I say that we will always be a medicore team until we start getting rid of the dead wood which keeps dragging us down.
You don't think he might have been earning his spot when he won our B&F - if you insist I can find it again, from memory he got Best or second for us in about 8 out of 10 games mid season (and yes he got votes early and late too)

You gotta admire him for having a crack, he's a goer. His disposal lets him down & in 2 years as others develop he may only be a fringe player - but he's not the worst... by far.

No I don't as far as I am concerned I don't place much value on our B&F the last few years go back and have a look at the hacks who won our B&F no wonder we are the laughing stock. Carrazzo is a average player in a team on the way up, but I am telling you this now as long as we have players like him on our list we will continue to be mediocre like the Saint's, Tigers etc.

Who really cares if he gets a 100 possies a game. I would rather him get 15 possies with 90% effectiveness. I was at the game I saw what he was doing in the first quarter it was laughable. Who gives a shit that he came back and got 30 possies, you know why he got 30 possies? Cause he wasn't tagged just shows how much respect they had for him, they know hes not going to do anything with his disposals.

He is far from perfect but his eff disposal % is one of our highest (he is not tagged because he is mostly playing defense on one of them)
Today was not one of his best games but you clearly have an axe to grind - wanting to blame the loss on him (I think Hille had a bit to do with it)
I so Do Not regret starting that thread on you (keep a note of your positive/negative ratio for just one week mate)

We all know how bad his first quarter was buddy, but the important thing is he bounced back. He had 5 clangers in the first quarter, 10 for the game, but was inspirational in the final term coming back from a concussion. You just saw the stats that Five dug into his personal library for. I know the stats dont tell all, but your main argument is his disposal is poor, the stats say he has had better efficiency then most in our team. Maybe you notice his poor disposals coz he works his butt off to get 25+ poss but butchers 5 of them. By the way murphy who is my favourite player, i have his number on my top, had 44% eff today. Do you want to banish him too? Coz carrazzo had a bad quarter you want to banish him? Even though he redeemed himself later in the game?

Ok whatever lets just forget it and keep playing hacks like Carrazzo and then wonder why we arent getting anywhere. You can defend him all you want but the truth is as long as players like him get a game week in and week out even though they continue to make the most basic of errors we will be a shit team. But hey I guess you guys know best even though Ihave been to every game for the last 25 years and seen some awesome Carlton sides, and trust me they didn't carry hacks like Carrazzo on their squads for long. But yeah what do I know.
