Brendon McCullum!!! Just broke the record for highest score in a T20 International. 123 off 58 balls. 11 fours, 7 sixes. And they still only got 191...

They only got 68 off the 62 balls McCullum didn't face. Great individual effort, but nothing special from the rest of the team.

That said, when you have a guy striking it like McCullum, a run a ball at the other end to get him on strike is a decent pace.

Luke really had his eye in and timed the ball beautifully, but some of the bowing to him was horrendous.

The Afghanistan team seemed to lose the plot once a couple of catches went down. One over consisted of half-volleys at about 78mph and all in the same spot on the pitch. A batsman's T20 fantasies come true.

He can lay into the ball alright but he's still young so you can't expect a lot of consistency.
