Don't touch a West Coast supporter?
Well. I'm stuffed.

AFL has delayed it's decision for 24 hours.

If I were part of the AFL Medical group I'd be currently running a non-public disclosed test of all players so that we could have a positive test as reason to delay the start.

But, I love a conspiracy.

ummm, so NBL can't finish 2 remaining games (possibly 1) in under a week involving about 20 players interacting, and AFL thinks it can play 153 games (not including finals or the Women's remaining games) involving maybe up to 630 players traveling back and forth across state lines over the next 7 months or so. Sad as it is (this will be a dismal year in many different ways), I think Darryl Kerrigan said it best.

This is going straight to the pool room.

The NBL would lose very little from calling the season now. The afl has both time and a lot more money at stake. Yep, they are dreaming and they know it but they need to try. Calling it now wouldn’t make any sense at all to the 100s maybe 1000s they have to lay-off.

The NBL could have finished the remaining 2 games but the Sydney Kings refused to play.

A team of Melbourne based scientists have made a major breakthrough apparently.
They’ve identified how healthy people’s immune systems fight the virus. They should be able to test the blood of people with confirmed cases and identify who will fight it naturally and who will require medical intervention. It sounds good on theory but our diagnostic labs may not be able to handle the volume I presume.

I'm not sure where to post this request so will put on several threads - but I'm DESPERATE to watch Freo playing footy.
Can anyone guide me to a download of our Marsh series match against West Coast? Or Carlton?

v Carlton https://www.afl.com.au/matches/1972
v West Coast https://www.afl.com.au/matches/1975

edit 2 - if you are really desperate you can try a free trial of Kayo - https://kayosports.com.au/#products (just remember to cancel within the 14 days)

well it's finally hit home for me and its officially a human tragedy this corona virus with Banfield revealing in his "lockdown diary" (worth a read btw) https://www.fremantlefc.com.au/news/577702/lockdown-diaries-banfield-s-perspective

that he probably wont get to see his girlfriend for a few weeks, this is his girlfriend for the record.. https://www.instagram.com/juliaedwards____/
I think i'd just risk the flu tbh

No wonder Brayshaw and Cerra seemed like they were going for the Banfield look.

Anyway I don't think she needs to worry too much about the risk of not finding another boyfriend/girlfriend/other should Banfield and/or any other footballer is being quarantined - Is this how I am supposed to describe the situation in modern parlance?

A tracking device on Connor Blakely wouldn’t go astray.🤭

What a fascinating article. I love the passion they have to do whatever it takes.

The crazy think is that i honestly believe an interupted shortened season plays right into the hands of a young team like Freo

2020 anything is possible

And after the effort in the marsh. Im excited

I have had a tip off from a source in the media that the Federal Government will, before the week is out, declare a full lockdown across the country.

That includes interstate travel. This would put the skids on any start to the season this weekend I presume.

Only essential services and industries will remain open ie power, health, supermarkets, defence, pharmacies etc.

I’m not racist or discrimitive at all but we shouldn’t be letting any international flights enter Aus right now.

So hypothetically- you’ve got immediate family overseas, bad luck they’ll have to stay there. Can’t see anyone happy with that situation?

I am now in quarantine because of the imposed requirements for international travellers. It ******* sucks, but I’d rather do this than be locked down in another country

Australians have a right to come home, how the government manages this is subjective.

I think that’s pretty obvious given the “Australians come home now” across media.

Scotty from Marketing can’t afford another bushfire disaster.
