Yeah . Willing to pay $39/month but not the usual $65/month , which means I’ll probably cancel within 12 months (if not sooner ). Whether I continue it in the off-season will depend on the quality of the cricket coverage
I’m not a true epl fan (notionally Liverpool though) but as a general sports fan that really sucks

Yeah it is and asked for the deal when they tried to charge me $65 to reconnect after the off season. I was told no so I got cranky and had to threaten to cancel Foxtel and then I was sent to the retention team. I was then offered the $39 deal so we kissed and made up.
You have to do the same dance each time with them but worth the effort with the price difference.

I am in a similar position on the waitlist to you (72XX) . I’ll continue to buy resale tickets from time to time , but Foxtel will be especially useful for those few eagles away games which aren’t live on FTA , as well as the home games I’m unable to attend. I also look forward to the interesting neutral games , the cricket etc .
The ability to cancel without penalty and the waiving of the installation/other fees were big drawcards for me!
Besides , it partly pays for itself (at least during the AFL season) because I now won’t have to get an AFL Live Subscription (and we now only have 1x ITW membership instead of 2x ITW Plus memberships) . No more relying on poor quality streams and/or having to watch on my phone! If I can't make a game live, watching on the big screen from the comfort of our home theatre is the next best thing!
I’m also looking into getting a Victorian Gold or Interstate Membership . I won’t be able to make it to all of the games I’ll be entitled to , but I tend to attend 2-3 interstate matches per year so again, it will partly pay for itself. The finals access (including Grand Final Access!) is the main drawcard . I'm waiting to hear back from the club regarding whether ITW will have priority finals access (the website suggests not
) .Yeah great point - forgot about where the extra 3c a month goes to! Another perk

Watching the eagles today it could come sooner than u think. Who wants to pay the big bucks to watch this rabble.

General Public tickets on sale today for first 11 rounds. Picked up good seats on level 1 for Sydney and Port. Plenty available. Or risk waiting ....

Ticketmaster froze on me (on 2 devices), and then once I got in, I couldn't get more than 2 good seats in a row within 30 mins of it opening , so decided against it. As of a couple of hours ago, there were only single seats left under "Best Available" (I don't want Restricted , and though Alcohol Free is fine in principle, I don't want to sit on Level 5
)
The Eagles have about 50,000 seated members at the stadium and there is another 1385 stadium members aligned with the club, leaving about 8000 tickets for general sale each home game Nisbet says.
