5. Barrass v Hawkins

Tommy Hawkins kicked three goals, but Tommy Barrass might’ve got him, which is no easy feat. Barrass had a game-high 12 intercept possessions and six intercept marks, while Hawkins took five marks and they were all inside 50. Barrass is underrated by everyone on the eastern seaboard except by coaches and key forwards. He can have matches where he seems to have brain fades, like an Alex Rance 11 years ago, and in other matches, he has an impact exactly like Rance used to do. Chill, I’m not saying he is the equal of Rance. I’m saying he’s a damn good player. The Eagles played their best footy of the season and we’ll find out for sure if they have turned the corner when they play Essendon on Friday night as part of the AFL’s double header project. The one-time dead game now has a fascination about it.

Not only is it an odd number, it’s a prime number. It just seems wrong.
It would be interesting to see how the Melb clubs feel about giving up one of their "traditional rival" marquee games.
They would end up playing an interstate team once in 2 years, cos tradition.

Doesn't take much does it? Two weeks ago the media were calling for an investigation or intervention, calling us the worst side ever and speculating about years of cellar-dwelling. Now we aren't even the worst side currently playing.

They're as reactionary as the melters on this forum. The Adam Simpson thread is now the barometer for our season.

If the media whack us next week, I'm guessing we'll get about 3-5 pages on Simmo hate.

Bless this mess ❤️

The De goy situation is laughable, this why the AFL will never be a global sport.

De Goy’s antics were in my top 5 reasons for why AFL will never be a global sport

I thought we were done with the Rance fellation.

Poor kids these days brought up in a world where validation and likes by others are monetised. She probably gained a few thousand followers after this little escapade. Only fans account in coming
