Did you watch talking footy?

That was on earlier in the evening and pretty sure that's where the allegation started.

I could have sworn Lyon was relaying what he was told had happened.
 
Same thing has been said on BF, doubt Bucks would be so careless in his comments to a player.

I didn't hear it that way on FC, but just checked the replay of TF on my phone and BT makes the allegation that he'd heard from 'someone' that Buckley had that conversation with Reid, so you're right there.

Not sure how legitimate BT's source, but it's an astonishing thing for a coach to say to his and the club's best key defender for the better part of 7 years who is still playing very good footy.

I think Hutchy or Barrett said on FC too that our recruiters were pissed at our match committee for dropping Reid too because it could jeopardise our chances of landing Sam, who we are actively chasing.

Just as an aside, he MCs the Copeland and all our major events/dinners. Fair assumption that he would have some contacts around the place, in addition to those he makes as a loudmouthed commentator...

Watch the comedy show this week as Moore misses with hamstring soreness, and Keeffe is selected as a forward while Reid plays VFL again.

I don't doubt Bucks could be brutal in his comments, just that the 1 in 8 type comment is just childish irrelevant crap that I think is beyond him.

How could the club not mention him at all in the VFL recap when he played a good game.

If Moore is out then Reid has to be picked and play as a forward.

This smells of Cloke 2016. Except Cloke's form was patchy for 3yrs before he was dropped.
 
I know his father loves the Swans and isn't the biggest fan of Collingwood.

3 years ago I know he had a chat to one of my dads best mates, they knew each other from high school while catching up he mentioned that it would be great to have both boys play in the same team, mate assumed it would be at Collingwood until he mentioned that it would be better in Sydney then Collingwood as he loves how the club is handled and run compared to Collingwood.

I know it was a few years ago, always stuck in my head.

For context, the goal was scored after he followed his man up the field and broke off for the wrap-around from one of our other blokes (Sier from memory) who had possession from a mark on the paint of 50. Reidy unsheathed the dagger and went thwack...
