Is Porps alright??

He would not get a game in a top 8 side other then yours, that is being nice about it.
Thats the funniest shit I have ever heard in my intire life.

I am 99.999999999% sure that they will even be able to fit him in the Geelong side.

No top 8 side would want any of your players... not even Fev.

Shirley >> Judd too

Watching the game on replay, it is unclear what happened. I'd like to see it from another angle or two to even cast judgment.
What is clear is that Porp's shoulder was targeted constantly off the ball by Thornton and others. Dirty, lowdown, mongrel acts on a football field. What is also clear is the interview with a Carlton player on channel Ten before the game--check the footage, it is most likely still up there in the previews--where he said that 'Porps was fair game once he crossed the white line'.
That's the mentality at Carlton. I'm glad it is not the mentality at my club.

Yeah thats 100% true.
2nd quarter I was behind our goals and they were aiming at porps shoulder even when the quarter had'nt started..

I really hope Karma comes back and bites them again and they dont make the top 8

ok, you have had some time to calm down, surely you are going to delete that comment now.

How embarrassment.
I think he might be behind the 8 ball...

MOTHER F****ERS!!

Freeking ferals:thumbsdown:

Buut he still looks cute :p

All this talk that browne couldn't avoid contact is utter crap! how hard is it to stop running or sidestep or put out your hands to stop yourself running into him!

it was clear as day he saw the rebounding porps and Bam! Hit him with the right Shoulder Browne Is a lucky Mo'Fo that there weren't any other camera angles otherwise he'd be in serious trouble

it's already off the ball, high contact and neglegent surely that's at least one match! could you imagine if there was another angle!

If Porps didn't have an injured shoulder, I bet Thornton wouldn't have given him that shove...
On the replay, you can se Browne give him a little jab to the head (watch it closely).

Dirty scummy thugs they are. How's your coaching record going Ratty boy?

If you still have the incident on tape or pvr, watch it again.

2 Crows and 2 Carlton players are well way from the ball.
Thornton and Porps are running on the left.
Browne and MacKay are running in from the right.
MacKay cuts to the left and proceeds by himself unimpeded.
Thorton is right on Porps and gives him a push.
In the meantime, Browne just lets MacKay run to the left and he continues in a straight line.
Browne heads staight towards Porps.
Although you can't tell where Browne is looking, it is obvious he has looking towards Porps.
Porps has been pushed in from Brownes left side, but Browne manages to bring his right-side shoulder around enough to hit Porps in the head.

From this, Brownes intent was to leave his man (MacKay) and run straight through Porps.

i actually thought it was Browne's right fist strike to Porpz, which knocked him out...from watching the replays closely (i taped the game), there is definitely no clear footage, but from what i can conclude, it was the left shoulder that did the damage, as the right fist jab/strike was late (and not entirely sure if that even made much contact)...

but from watching it on slow motion replay, i couldn't even believe Browne was able to bring his left shoulder around enough to be able to make that high contact on Porpz...as it looked like Porpz was falling in front of Browne.

btw, Browne was on Porpz right hand side...both running towards Adelaide's goal end...so no way could it have been Browne's right shoulder that made contact...it was left shoulder + extra right hand strike attempt at chest/throat or head of an already concussed Porpz, who was yet again about to dislocate that shoulder.

Thornton pushed him into Browne. It was easily set up.

They were going at him all game a**holes.

And I know this has nothing to do with it but I just saw porps on the news getting in the car with his girlfriend GRRRRRRRRRRRR:mad:

Better be his sister (thats if he has one...)

Porps would be embarrassed if he knew about your obsession with him.
Egg I know how much you hate me after those rude words you said to me on the dreamteam board so please do not say one more thing to me.

I do not want to be 'embarressed' talking to you..

Was at the game.
Didn't see the incident live.
Did anyone actually see it happen before their eyes?
I only saw the subsequent replay.
At first all the crow fans around me were very angry
and screaming for blood. I saw porplyzia on the deck
and thought 'someone's nailed him'.
Following the first replay alot of crow fans around me
were a little less incensed and a couple actually commented
that it could've been an accident.
They played it again, and although some crows fans were still
ready to get the pitchforks out, the rest were still debating
whether or not it was intentional.

yep saw it happen live but from behind the goals at the other end of the ground, so I didn't know who the carlton players were. It was all within my view of the ground. Now I wasn't close to see if it was a shoulder bump, a fist thrown, but it was off the ball and it was pretty obviously intentional that he changed his course to run at Porps.

Browne deviated off his man (Mackay) who was running into the Adelaide fwd 50 when we had possession of the ball from a free (Bock), which if you think about it is a bit stupid to do to allow an Adelaide player to run into the fwd 50 without being close enough to provide defensive action when Adelaide has possession....

Browne was running beside Porplyzia to man him up and wasn't running towards him.

Did you see it or are you guessing, cause where I was sitting one player was running one way and the other straight towards him...........

Browne isn't a sniper when he didn't move or dip his shoulder.

mmmmmm I'd suggest you have another look at the replay, the part where he is loading up with the right to give him a wack, it was only Thorntons shove that cut the wack short and it turned into a shoulder punch to Porps head.

Gee if only the camera had it from the other angle, you would see something pretty crude.

And all this so far away from the ball.........thats got to be a problem as well.
