He runs like Lyons but hes bit quicker i reckon, taller and more advanced at same age. He just needs to develop and will work his way in.
Hes already moved past schoenberg

Need a decent squad of 30 players any way to manage injuries & suspensions.
We traded out depth last season, so we need to increased it for the new season.
Sholl improved this year and was ok.
Kicking is way overrated and is still brushed aside way too easily on defence. He's not overly quick but tries to make up for it by running himself into the ground. This makes his physicallity even worse late in games. He has major question marks for intense physical finals games
If Sholl is on the periphery this is a good sign for the squad.
Not taking away from his improvement this year.

The last sentence kinda does exactly the opposite....
There are levels, good on him for improving though, it's all you can ask.
Low bar, but don't be shocked if he polls well in the back half of the year in the BnF
I suspect he'll get as many as anyone not named Keays or Fogarty from mid year.

Wait up, Nicks moved Laird to the backline and put Hinge on the wing. Are you saying the coach you keep backing in made another stupid move?
How about getting Smith to his trigger and then dropping him?
Both moves of a good coach?
Devils advocate, i didn't mind the move of Hinge to the wing.
The fact it was to accommodate a failing Laird moving back to the backline however, was an issue

My preference is for Hinge mainly in the backline... but my bigger preference is to have players capable of moving between defence & wing as needed. The top Hawks & Cats premiership sides had adaptable players capable of performing different roles.
Yeah I agree.
Hinge, Nank, Sholl, Oscar Ryan and hopefully Cumming being able to switch through the roles would be great.

Agree. I think Jones is every chance to be delisted next year. And I would love for us to only go in with Crouch and Sawson as older mids - and we would likely get a late 20’s to mid 30’s pick for Laird

Think Jones is a case of awful development, showed he had the traits to be an impact player in his draft year but never lived up to what he could be
