Have been told by a second source lukocious 100% coming to Adelaide and the only thing that can prevent this from happening is the crows. Not sure what he meant by that, maybe not offering Gold Coast what he sees as a reasonable trade similar setup to how the rankine trade went down when rankine said he wanted Gold Coast to receive a reasonable pick in return. source was within the suns playing group.

Our whole club seems to have this uncontrollable urge to appear to be smarter than everyone else.

Often instead of drafting who you'd expect, we draft left field randos hoping we'll look like geniuses if they come good (Narrator: They didn't).

It's the same thinking that infiltrated Nicksy this year with his genius sub usage. Here's Nicksy thinking he's unearthed the greatest strategy that no one else has even considered, by using the sub as an impact player. This genius tactic had somehow eluded McRae, Scott, Fagan, Longmire, etc only to be discovered by Nicks. Well guess what, it stunk.

Lots of jumping at shadows here. Not coming immediately out and nominating one club straight away is common. Why nominate one club when you can play two clubs against each other and drive your price up a bit?

In that case, he'd better get the timing right. Free agency closes before trading closes, but there is a little overlap. If Houston goes at the end, then he is irrelevant to his considerations.
