doesn't matter how you define it. it only matters how Hezbollah define it. You can read their 1985 manifesto if you wish...it's pretty clear what they want.
In 1985 South Lebanon was still under Israeli military occupation. A forthright response to that would be understandable even if not condoned from the world outside Lebanon.

They've changed their rhetoric over the years. This from 2009;

December 2, 2009

...The latest model of Hezbollah is nothing if not politically savvy, and its new manifesto was almost designed to avoid making headlines. There was no reference to an Islamic revolution. Nasrallah spoke in conciliatory terms about his Lebanese political opponents, and called for the end of sectarian divisions in the country. He criticized the conflation of “terrorism” with “resistance”; only the latter, he said, had “legitimacy.” Speaking of Israel, he said, “Our problem with them is not because they are Jewish. Our problem is because they have taken over Palestine.” These lines were not in the original text, and Nasrallah looked straight into the camera while speaking them.

Nasrallah was also clear in his military intentions. “The history of the Arab-Israeli conflict proves that armed struggle and military resistance is the best way of ending the occupation,” he said at one point. “We categorically reject any compromise with Israel or recognizing its legitimacy.” He reserved some particularly harsh rhetoric for the United States, blaming it for complicity in all of Israel’s actions. “American terror is the root of all terror in the world,” he said...

Netanyahu wants the US engaging in combat in the next 5 weeks. The US public doesn't. If Biden were forced to commit forces then that's an election win for Trump, whom Netanyahu wants in power as he's more friendly.

The next 5 weeks will be some of the most critical in history as Netanyahu desperately tries everything to get his man into the White House
I'd say both sides are pretty friendly with Netanyahu because both sides are funded by AIPAC. For them, it doesn't really matter whether Trump or Kamala becomes president because they're both bought.

Trump's campaign so far has been anti-war and "the Democrats are starting WWIII and I will prevent it" but we all know that's BS when it comes to the Israelis. Netanyahu knows that both Trump and Kamala will go to war on their behalf which is why he's comfortable with starting a regional war. AIPAC have done the job for him.

My theory is that they will start a regional war and successfully bait Iran into getting involved within the first year of Trump or Kamala's presidency. This will then bring the US into the war with Iran, which may then bring Russia into the war for a full-scale WWIII.

Trump is no supporter of war right now and neither is Kamala especially in the middle east.

only way the USA gets involved is if Iran does something stupid.
Trump is unconditional support for Israel and will allow them to continue to do whatever they want.

If Israel is allowed to continue with impunity there are only possible outcomes;
  1. Much bigger and wider conflict including the USA
  2. If the USA abstains, Israel will be destroyed
Netanyahu must be stopped - at some point Biden has to turn them off. And he can

Jeez I wish Turkey would get involved.

That is probably the only action that can force the USA's hand for good.

Thats great and all but none of this is relevant to what was posted.

What was said that Trump nor Kamala won't put US boots on the ground to support an Israel offensive based on his current stance on wars the US supports, now what they allow Israel to do on their own (with US support like funding etc) is completely and utterly irrelevant to that point

Israel was created in 1948
So the Kingdom of Judah never existed all those millenia ago?

Hey .... we all want peace .... but seeds of hatred have been sown over many centuries not just since 1948 ..... there is no straightforward simple solution here especially when both sides resort to violence

Palestinian Arabs are pissed they have been pushed out and marginslised in the region in recent times and Israelite Jews are pissed off that they were pushed out numerous times in historical times ...... everyone has claim but no one wants to give an inch.
