Jewish voice for peace has 23,000 members up around New York.

23.000 out of probably over 3 million people in New York of Jewish origin that tells us something right there,it could not be clearer most of the so called settlers in the west bank are from Brooklyn.

I would not expect them to give much support to Palestinians they would be like Miriam Adelson and actively support Jewish occupation of the west bank.

There's a lot of american accents in the west bank, whenever i've seen footage of settlers being interviewed.

And I hate to reinforce stereotypes (of course i'm joking) but americans do seem to like to settle their disputes with guns

"Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s office said the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade had provided consular assistance while the 20-year-old was in Jordan"

weak as piss again. imagine the outrage had a jewish student been hit by a hamas sniper - and quite properly.

The empire strikes back....

Donald Trump is considering sanctions against a British lawyer over the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Hague-based court is facing a major international backlash for its decision to issue a warrant for the Israeli prime minister and Yoav Gallant, the former Israeli defence minister.

Mike Waltz, who will serve as Mr Trump’s national security adviser, said the court had “no credibility” and promised “a strong response to the anti-Semitic bias of the ICC” when the Trump administration takes office on Jan 20.

Karim Khan KC, the ICC’s chief prosecutor, could be among the officials targeted for sanctions by Mr Trump.

Lindsey Graham, a senator for North Carolina, went further, promising to back a law that would punish countries that comply with the arrest warrants.

“Any nation or organisation that aids or abets this outrage should expect to meet firm resistance from the United States, and I look forward to working with President Trump, his team, and my colleagues in Congress to come up with a powerful response,” he said.

None of the pro-genocide lobby groups have memberships either. AIPAC is just a front for very rich people, not a popular movement.

There are Jewish groups like J Street who lobby for a peaceful Israeli Govt and 2-state solution.

Jewish people voted more than 60% for Democrats. It's a bait-and-switch that every time a Republican is elected, pro-war lobby groups like AIPAC (and others for other parts of the world) claim that it's vindication for more wars, which the Republicans always support.

All the opinion polls show that people care far more about the economy than Israel. And that includes Jewish voters.

There's an article in the rupert media about 2 israeli tourists in queensland...

If you see it and read it, then read this...

As soon as I read the quote, I knew it was a Qld Bogan.

Who would have guessed Peter Dutton's Queensland would be full of racists. Colour me shocked!

The funny part will be if Dutton jumps on this as a sign of Labor's policies promoting anti-semitism in Queensland, even though he's been doing that for decades.

how many members of AIPAC?

AIPAC states that it has 3,000,000 members. That's a lot of millionaires although I dont doubt your implied assertion that there are 3 million jewish american millionaires keen to support AIPAC.....

Some things are predictable in life. Including a minor incident experienced by two israeli "tourists" somehow being reported to a bogus entity named the Anti-defamation Commission...

which is run by a guy who was given $1 million gov't funding by josh frydenberg....who he is mates with....and was accorded charity status too for good measure. And if you read the article, you would see that this "body" has been lying about anti-semitism....

so some things are predictable....ho hum....just another official sounding body talking to rupert media about stuff that is useful for click bait and nothing much else.

evidently jewish americans dont even care that much about israel....although i'm not sure if they polled the 60,000 american jews in the west bank who are actively pushing palestinians out of their homes....

The US are going to sanction EU countries (and hopefully us if our government grows a spine). They really are in self destruct mode now. China will you still be our friends?

I know he is enjoying himself at the moment and he wouldnt want to leave home, but I'd love to see him come here for a tour....

Israeli opposition leader Benny Gantz urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to attack Lebanon’s government facilities in Beirut, which so far have been spared relentless strikes.

“The Lebanese government is allowing Hezbollah to operate freely. It’s time to take strong action against its infrastructure and assets,” Gantz said on X.

Avi Ashkenazi, a military analyst for the Maariv newspaper, suggested in an article that the premises of the Lebanese parliament would be a viable target for the Israeli army.

“The parliament building is part of Hezbollah’s political infrastructure and could serve as a refuge for its members,” Ashkenazi said.

He also suggested that the Israeli military should destroy 10 to 20 more buildings in Beirut’s southern suburb “to ensure dominance in the area”.

Dont be fooled.....they're all in on it....

As long as they keep to military, security and political targets, and possibly some economic targets like the ports at Haifa and Elat I wish Iran every success in their targeting.

And then I hope they get rid of their current Islamic government. Don't install a slave to Washington but whatever they do, the Iranian people definitely deserve a better leadership than what they've currently got.

ireland has taken the lead in speaking out on these matters. credit to them for being on the right side of history.

the prof, too. without the enablers from the west, the occupiers and terrorists could not have caused the criminality, bloodshed, and mercilessness.

Be interesting to see how the US sanction “Ireland” when so many of the big US tech companies use Ireland as a tax haven.
