FYI, the IDF have NOT stopped killing and harming Palestinians. They’ve now gone into the West Bank and killed a couple of people in Gaza (specifically in Rafah).

The IDF are seemingly baiting Hamas into a response to try justifying their next onslaught. Trump’s already talking about how nice the Gaza coastline is, so I’m seeing a lot of red flags right now.

I hope people remember what they’re currently doing so that they have context should Hamas or other Palestinians respond to this.

why on earth would the PA want to join with hamas officially or unofficially?
And if they did join , it wouldn't be the PA calling the shots.
The PA were the ones attempting to supply water, power, food, etc to palestinians. Hamas brought it crashing down around them.

The PA is controlling things in the West Bank but they dont have much credibility. They vacated gaza 15 years ago after hamas won the election there. They dont supply water or power to gaza. Hamas support was declining before oct 23 but it's been improving since then among gazans because they can see that they will never get anywhere playing softball like the PA has been. At any rate, the Israelis say that they dont want to deal with the PA ...probably because hamas being in charge in gaza gives them a reason to murder.

My point was that beyond the labels, palestinians should look to create a common front.

Look at the israelis. Apparently some of the public dont want to murder palestinians, but they support the right wing ministers in the cabinet, because they realise they need to create a common front. Unity is important in times of war.

Talk about overkill. The analysis of Elon's hand signals seems to go on to infinity. People trying to work out whether he's a nazi or not a nazi. If he's a nazi, of course, he hates jews. If he's not a nazi, then he probably still hates jews but he doesn't want to be overt about it.

To me, the hand signal changes nothing. He's a bit of fascist and wants to get the state to get the public in line producing goods that elon designs. He wants 20 hour days for loyal workers, eager to further the cause of elon. He wants women to make babies to grow up to produce goods and consume them. He can think of all of that, but he doesnt have to hate jews. He can think that the state needs to enforce production for the good of people like him, but he doesnt have to hate jews. The two things are separate issues....

But of course, the two are cornflaked into one, as per usual.

On another crazy matter, a jewish professor is complaining that a qld uni presentation organised by jews made him feel threatened....and so the Uni is apparently going to be investigated or charged or whatever by the czar of antisemitism.....am I getting this right? Antisemitism inflicted by jews?

I have this re-occurring thought that most palestinians in gaza would give today's food ration to have to "suffer" some psychological discomfort, if they didnt have to see their baby crushed in the rubble...

I just saw a video of how the israelis destroyed educational institutions in gaza and I wondered why ....well i didnt but I thought about literacy....

Btw the Australian figures are not in the same world chart but are frequently given as 96.6%.

THe Palestine figure is from 2022. Its hard to relate the three.

It's an interesting discussion who should take over governance of Gaza if/when the current saga draws to a close. You'd think the PNA would be likely. I recall a while back in which reps from the PNA said they would
