A few things aren't adding up here though.

His instagram post and attempted exemption

Apparently not talking to team mates, the club or his manager

Getting the novavax at the absolute first opportunity

Some of this is fact, and some of it is media speculation. I'm guessing that the 'no contact' is a line run by the media that the club, players and his manager have been told to continue with.


I mean for all of the talk about being a campaigner, JD literally got the vaccine he was comfortable with at the earliest opportunity. In that sense (looking through a very narrow lense I know) he did the right thing by the club.
