Where has it been confirmed Collingwood is pushing him out?

Bringing in one player in a similar position (whilst also losing one) doesn’t equate to pushing him out.

If he leaves I presume it will be mainly due to one of the same major reason Adams left and Schultz joined us. Contract tenure.
I think it was more inferred from the public criticism from the coach combined with the fact that you've already brought in a player who can perform his role better.

Collingwood aren't fussed losing him clearly, and I expect we'll be offering an early 3rd rounder.

Or alternatively that could all amount to challenging him to get better on and off to field to demand selection in the team. I don’t think they’d be so rigid to have a best 22 locked in by October.

Also based on the below it doesn’t exactly sound like we were expecting to lose him or pushed him out though.

“9 News’ Branden Ingram reports the bombshell request caught Collingwood by surprise.

“Jack Ginnivan was indeed working out at Olympic Park having just made a swift exit from Magpies HQ in the past few minutes. What a whirlwind 18 hours…off the plane from Bali, meets with Hawks, now management requests trade, Pies blindsided,” he wrote.”

His name has been floating around for weeks. Hawks even made a play last year.

9News might just be behind the times.

No way 33 gets it done.

IMO the Hawks need to try to split pick 4 into 2 first rounders, and then Pies chuck in Ginnivan and 19 for a pick in the early teens.

Crows's 14 might get it done. Something like this:

Pies:
IN
: Pick 14
OUT: Ginnivan, Pick 19

Hawks:
IN
: Pick 10, Pick 19, Ginnivan
OUT: Pick 4

Crows:
IN
: Pick 4
OUT: Pick 10, Pick 14

Thats funny, made me chuckle. There is no way hawks are dropping down from 4 to get ginnivan.

Lol not going happen.

Future 2nd is our best chance.

I think the idea that Hawks are going to get a walk-up best 22 player, who is 20 years old for what will be a pick that will end up in the 40s is laughable.

Comparable player was Stephenson, who was done for picks 26 and 33, and that was a bloke the Pies wanted to leave.
Except he isn’t a walk up best 22 player.

The idea that any club in the comp would trade back from pick 4 to secure Ginnivan is laughable.

Most likely the lions F2 if the Ryan trade happens, or our F3. I’m not sure he’d be welcome back at Collingwood tomorrow given how this is playing out.

We’ll want our F1, F2, and a F3 available on draft night. Allows us to get amongst live trades.

Such as he averaged less frees and goals in the games he was selected in this year as compared to last year?
As was pointed out that he played a much high % of games as a sub.

That’s the fact you were responding to.

You posted this in the wrong thread. The "insane trades that will never happen" is down the corridor and to the left.

What was Mitchell last trade period? Pick 43 with Hawthorn paying half his salary.

Stephenson was a Rising Star winner and a vastly more talented player than Ginnivan.

While he won't realise that talent now, even when the heat death of the universe occurs and all life ceases Stephenson will still have more talent than Ginnivan.

Seems like Hawk fans have just ‘discovered’ Ginnivan over the last 24 hours.

Complete 180 turn.
That will be nothing like the complete turn Collingwood fans will be doing when he drops into a tackle from now on.

It will start with Eddie who used his platform at every oppotunity to go "its a disgrace Ginni not getting free kicks" It will then become "the bloke ducks his head, play on" as we all know Eddie is a hypocrit and the whole Collingwood supporter base will join in.
