Jack is a good pick up. My dad is a Blues supporter and he thinks he can be a really good player if he stays match fit. Hopefully we can keep him on the park and he becomes an elite player for our club.

He’s played forward for the Blues but was a midfielder as a junior. I just see an opportunity for us to play a different role.

It would have been hard to fit Martin into the Carlton midfield which was pretty good, so perhaps he was forced to play forward.

Good luck Jack. If you can get his body right he's a good player. For his size, he's a strong mark and strong tackler and has a bit of x-factor around goals.
