longer can play dont worry about that, injuries stuffed up his year but last year he was our no.1 ruckman, hickey dominated the year and kept him out this season. i rate longer but do think he'll go seeking more opportunities
Don't think GWS need a ruckman but Longer and Steele are probably worth something similar.

I think that would be pretty fair. Steele has been very good but I would have no complaints in helping him get where he wants to go. Longer is building slowly but very well in my opinion. Much better value than Witts.
Who does Longer replace? That is just buying a NEAFL list clogging flog.
If it was him or future 2nd round id take the latter.
Mumford is 30 and we are very light without him in the ruck. If he gets injured or gets suspended we look very thin.
The points of a second-rounder always help, but draft-picks are a very overrated commodity compared to a player in their early 20's who is ready to go.
Mate we have Matt Flynn who is very promising and just needs another 12 months.
Look if they were throwing Longer away for a can of coke perhaps but not for a swap for a player who is wanted by at least 4 clubs.
We're better off getting a future pick.
I'd be happy with that, pretty sure Tomilson is keen to stay though.

Pretty sure we've heard your club has been into a few of those, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if you've had a chat to all of them.
Let's not act as though Essendon is a destination club.
i don't think ive seen many or any essendon supporters claim we were .... seen a few saints claim st kilda is a destination club.
