Hope he has a speedy recovery and then seeks help, sounds like his personal life is not in a good place right now.

refusing not once but twice to tell police what happened doesn’t sound good, got nothing to hide then should be able to tell them what took place.

You're a peanut.

BTW Steven had a second opportunity to co-operate with police and declined.
Feel better now?
Don’t BTW me, hardly anyone here gave your first insight any credence so doubt the second will get much traction

Doesn’t necessarily implies complicity to the stabbing, there’s a lot of victim blaming in this thread given there’s so little information surrounding the situation .

The club and the AFL are only concerned with his recovery, it’s strange that some of the clubs supporters are only interested in blaming Jack for the incident.

If it was then surely you tell the police that.

Why.
Could simply be a case of just doing some stupid drunken shit with your mates that went wrong.
Why would you dob in a mate when you're possibly just as culpable. I wouldn't.

If it was a "drunken misadventure", it possibly makes more sense as to why he didn't tell police.

No excuse for being pissed 2 days from training starting again though. Not the end of the world but not a good look.

This has a somwhat familiar feel to it all.

Garry Lyon said he's hearing that life in Geelong has not - so far - provided Jack with any relief from the demons that have been haunting him for some time now.

There seems to be a lot of media wanting to say a lot while saying nothing. Maybe if the they can't say it out right they should say nothing instead of this behind the hand stuff.

The sooner football starts the better... and for JackS I hope what ever the situation, I hope get back to best health and also he is honest with the club and let them help him get back to playing afl while he still has time left.

This type of situation is not ideal when the talk is about trimming list and played be delisted, and support staff being down sized.. every player will be feeling all sorts anguish atm. there is probably case to be spending more on support not less. The AFL need to consider slowing down the reduction across 3-4 years
