The jungle drums have been beating and the news is out: Wayne Jackson's time as AFL head honcho is up! Club bosses are believed to be becoming increasingly disenchanted with Jackson's leadership style.

Word around the traps is that his replacement will be either current Lions CEO, Andrew Ireland; or former Roo chief, Greg Miller.

All I can say is that this possibly may have an element of truth in it. Sheedy may have been unintentionally close with his assessment!

It is my observation that Jacko is too concerned with maintaining the AFL's corporate image at the expense of reality.
