The old double reverse bluff .. smh
Maybe we've told them we'll deal fairly with them if they deal fairly with us and won't outright screw them over with the PSD, since saying we're not using PSD under any circumstances would remove all our leverage, but who knows with this club anymore.

Maybe Simeon couldn't think of else to write

It's not the type of info you offer up. But if asked you'd only go as far to say you have no plans to use it and will be trading in good faith but need a win after the Crouch debacle.

Saving that pick for Cameron
You spelt “Caldwell” wrong..

Please.. a hard NO to taking Cameron... too old for the rebuilding position we are currently in and far too expensive..

Can you imagine two years from now if Rankine and Luko want to come home and play for the team they grew up passionately supporting... but the crows havent got the coin to make a play for them because theyre paying a 30 year old Cameron $900k a year and still have 4 more years of it on the books!..

Faaaark that.

If we were top 8 this year and pushing for a flag next year it would be a different story.. but then, we wouldnt have pick 1 in the PSD..

It would be brilliant if Cameron went to the PSD and got picked up by the Swans with the money they put aside for Daniher.

Clubs don't want to use the PSD, it's all about trading in good faith.

But that doesn't mean we trade overs for him.

They seem pretty happy to use it as a threat against us.

The very first thing we should have said is 3rd rounder or PSD your choice GWS.

When you make a threat you have to be prepared to follow though with it. Not say hey we're really nice so we won't use the PSD we will give you a pick, maybe you can give us a discount because we've been good traders with you before.

According to Simeon Thomas-Wilson (Footy reporter at the Tiser) we've already told GWS we won't take him in the PSD.
Lol, how would he know.

Our preference would be a trade for slight unders... but if GWS play hardball (which I doubt), then PSD it is.

IMO, GWS more likely to play hardball with Cameron as Cats won't get him through the PSD.
