Jarryd Blair and his worth to Collingwood

Does anyone remember Jason Wild? Small, skinny ranga who wore #22 in the 90s. Collingwood supporters would. This guy makes Jason Wild look like a superstar.

Against the bottom side in the comp, in a side that won by 45 points and scored over 120 points, he had 14 possessions, of which only 2 were kicks, and laid 2 tackles.

How/why he is in the side is beyond me. Will be dropped for Crocker this week. Would rather be giving a Daicos or Brown a gig as the forward pocket to be honest.

God I wish his name was Barry.

Can't imagine a more frustrating footy scenario than having Blair play every week for seven years.

He's not a terrible footballer. He just doesn't do enough to warrant selection.

One of those guys who will get a game at a poor footy side because he does the team things but you'll never find him making it into the top 24 of a top quality side.

Been a fan of blair's since he came into the team, knew his role and played it + gave his all for the black & white. Unfortunately the last couple of years he seems to keep getting caught a step behind the play and hasn't had the impact he used to, highlighted by just 2 tackles on the weekend. Can't see him getting many more games this year and even staying on the list beyond this year, paving the way for younger small fwds/mids such as Daicos, Crocker etc.

What were the pies thinking picking up a clone in Mayne? Having the 2 in the forward line at the same time is more than the average supporter could take.
In saying that, I don't understand how Bucks isn't playing Mayne ahead of Blair anyway.

As poor as Mayne may be, I feel he'd still offer more than what Blair does.
