They refused to rebuild and kept trying to top up with the Omeara and Mitxhell deals not working.Am I the only one that thinks Clarko may be a little overrated now? It isn’t 2014 anymore and he couldn’t prevent Hawthorns slide..
Having lived in Adelaide for 22 years, 5 in northern NSW, then 1.5 years in Melbourne..
Melbourne is s**t.
Moved to Geelong (nice part) and very happy with decision.
I personally find it's Scorpio's that are the crazy ones.Nothing wrong with being a Gemini

Yeah I did but even then it's just not that great.Obviously everyone has their tastes, but didn't you move to Melbourne during, or just before, the pandemic? It's not as if you came at the right time
sorry if I got you confused with another poster
You should be posting this on the Port Power forum, they are apparently "front runners" for JHF due to his step dad's link.
Yeah I did but even then it's just not that great.
Takes 45-50 mins to drive anywhere worth going, you feel like you're stuck in traffic the whole time.
The city has nice things (still work there) in terms of atmosphere for socialising but actually living in the suburbs is rubbish.
Sydney has worse roads, twice as many people and no AFL.Ain’t Sydney the same but with better weather?
Anyone who would prefer living in Adelaide to Melbourne, in their 20s, is insaneHaving lived in Adelaide for 15 years, Sydney 12 years and Melbourne 5 years
Adelaide >>>>>>>>>> Sydney >>>>>>>>>>>> Melbourne
Only 3 places in Melbourne worth going to from worst to best
3) MCG
2) Marvel Stadium
1) Tullamarine Airport
Did it have a cracked head though?Had a Gemini once, drove like a mobile shopping trolley
Well in my opinion, yeah. Better weather makes a big difference though.Ain’t Sydney the same but with better weather?
Why?Anyone who would prefer living in Adelaide to Melbourne, in their 20s, is insane
I lived in both cities in my 20's along with also living in Europe. Melbourne is nothing special. The people you are with matters more than location.Anyone who would prefer living in Adelaide to Melbourne, in their 20s, is insane
Yep. I know too exactly how slow they are, but i loved the manual shift coming out the console on the 45 degree and my key (very worn) could open 3 of my mates commodores. So it was funHad a Gemini once, drove like a mobile shopping trolley

They keep saying this however Fabian Francis had a pay dispute with Port at then end of the 2001 season and they subsequently delisted him at the end of the 2001 season.
He did not leave on good terms I would have thought.
Well, Darwin is actually the best. If you like alcohol, hate traffic, being paid lots and having a trip or 2 to bail a year.Anyone who would prefer living in Adelaide to Melbourne, in their 20s, is insane
Sounds like the difference between a holiday to Disneyland where you either stay in the park or live in AneheimAgree. If you're that age with disposable income there's a lot more to do especially if you can afford to live in the inner city suburbs like Richmond, Sth Melbourne, Carlton etc. You know you're at the center of the footy world. When you get used to that, it's weird to come back to Adelaide where it's much more parochial. I think that's why so many players stay.
Now that I'm older I wouldn't want to live there. I'd be out in the sticks because it's so unaffordable.
Dunno but maybe that’s why it felt like it was running on 1 cylinderDid it have a cracked head though?

It was Deaneus's first car too. His, like most, had the petrol cover/door absent due to the plastic hinges.... Ahh the early 90s.Yep. Yeah, the system worked the first time, seems broken now.The having to show ID is weird though
I wouldn't trade any of the young SA talent.Players that may generate some interest and value and wouldn't be upset in losing if it meant getting JHF and Rankine:
Ben Keays - Would be at his highest value right at this moment
Brayden Cook - this one could bit us on the bum, as he is quality, just needs to find a position and develop
Shane McAdam - career year best, but realistically we are not going to get any more value out of him than right now. Yet to put together a whole season without injury. With Rachele, Rankine, Fog & TT there is enough x-factor
Harry Schoenberg - another one who has a couple of levels to go, but has stagnated and if we were to get JHF and Rankine, and with Soligo coming through, he may find he is behind a couple
Nick Murray - has shown enough as a KPD to get some value
Wayne Milera - not sure anyone is paying too much but has shown glimpses this year
Elliott Himmelberg - FWD/Rucks don't grow on trees, but is behind Filthy. Might be some value
Lachlan Sholl - Brilliant user of the footy, but soft as butter. If another club needs an outside finisher, he could be worth something
Reilly O'Brien - if we were to target a ruck, then ROB is out of here
Lachlan Gollant - harsh, but would have some value
Tom Doedee - Got to give something to get something, and think we can cover his role
Do not trade list:
Riley Thilthorpe
Josh Rachele
Jake Soligo
Sam Berry
Rory Laird
Darcy Fogarty
The remainder would either be classified as other clubs not interested, or the value we would receive would not match their current output.
