Our current line-up has a real old school Maggies toughness about it. Cunnington aside, North come across as a bunch of fairies in comparison.

I find it quite funny to hear about how a young North side are going to rough a player up when his teammates will likely include Dixon, Jonas, Lycett, SPP and Lachie Jones. We might be inconsistently motivated and tactically inept but we're hardly getting bullied physically.

I actually think that the AFL has almost done the most disrespectful thing to North Melbourne by playing the Port v North game in Tasmania in round 9.

Just long enough into the season that no one will care about Port and North playing at a rubbish venue at a rubbish time on Saturday afternoon on Fox. Do you think AFL360 will pump the game up in the same way they pumped up Daniher game? So if Zieball and co want to target JHF, it will also be a “does a bear sh@t in the woods” moment… As only 5 North supporters will be there to ”cheer”.

Ultimately, it’s a professional sport and by actually playing you earn your money. Clarkson won’t let them just punch on. Just saying….

I have some sympathy for North because we don't know what JHF told them pre draft. But their supporters can eat a dick.
