I will personally be upset to lose Richards, as he showed a fair bit this season, but you can't begrudge a guy getting paid.

I say this as one of his biggest fans this year. This is a fair decision for his career.
He is at an age and list position that he needs more surety, which he will get at Port. We have too many small forwards, it was hard to fit them in when fit.

Will be an interesting watch - the class displayed in his first couple of appearances really stood out.
We’re ok in the small forwards department.
I prefer losing him and getting Dan. So thanks for requesting a trade.
Will be slightly interested to see how he goes in to develop now. More out of curiosity than anything else.
But we offered him a more than generous contract for his lack of games and he knocked us back.

Yeah, took a huge step forward compared to his first season.

I wish him all best but was going to struggle to get games barring injury. Out of left field if I had to choose between Richards and H Harrison I would pick Harrison every day of week even if not exactly like for like

Not really, at his age he needs to be taking all the opportunities he can. If he was younger sure, he may well have bided his time for Elliot to retire. Sad to see him go, thought he showed real promise, but I don't blame him at all.

It was never a serious offer from Collingwood. Long known that he would play his part in the Houston trade.

As much as I was keen to see Joey's development I cannot be upset with his departure as it resulted in us getting a two time All Australian player. Goodbye and good luck, Joe.
