Podcast Joe Rogan - Tricked again!

No I do not have his medical records. But you know what you’re doing. You wouldn’t stake your family’s life on him having taken horse medicine, despite your insistence on saying it, because you know you’d be assuring their demise.

You’ve already explained that you believe “Joe Rogan took horse medicine” is a noble lie because use of that language makes a dangerous person look less credible. So I know that you know he didn’t, or at least that you’re pretty sure.
So you don't even know if saying he took horse dewormer is a lie. But you're demanding and degrading people for saying it.

While ignoring, or at minimum giving a pass, to Rogan for what he's done.

How can you demand someone stop lying, when you don't know it's a lie?
It's because you've been fed the narrative, and unfortunately you're repeating it.

I don't think it's a noble like, I KNOW ivermectin is a horse dewormer. I KNOW Rogan says that he took Ivermectin.

I'm more comfortable saying Rogan has taken horse dewormer (Ivermectin), than saying that Ivermectin is an effective treatment for COVID.
You should too... speaking of ethos...

You KNOW it’s a human dewormer and treatment for lice (or something). Well how do you know that he took it at all? You’re happy to take his word on one thing but not another. You’re picking and choosing because you can’t see past your hyper-opinionated take on it.

What narrative have I been fed?!

I am not degrading anyone.

See! It's the game of semantics!

"It's not ashkually horse dewormer, it's used for live in humans".

Who gives a shit? He promoted, dangerously and frequently, the use of ivermectin as an effective treatment for covid.
He even used himself as evidence to it.

Why do you care about the semantics of horse dewormer vs lice remover?

It’s semantics on your part. Whether someone takes People Medicine or Horsey Medicine is extremely straight forward and they are very different things. You know the difference and are using creative interpretations of the situation to say that Joe Rogan took Horsey Medicine. Even Chief admits that this is a “minor troll”.

Why can’t everybody just try to tell the truth as much as possible?

Can you state for a fact, that you know... that he took ivermectin specifically for human use?

Not assumptions, but a statement of fact.
Can you actually say that?
Or can you only take him on his word... (which is bad)... and assume that because he is so rich, he would have easy access to it?

If you want to bring up ethos.
Can you state on your family's life, that he took ivermectin specifically for human use, to treat covid?

Jesus mate you're really taking this discussion seriously aren't you?

You're attempting to hamstring one 'side', by holding them to a set of rules that you clearly don't expect from the other 'side'.

I think that he took Ivermectin, which is a horse dewormer. Can you say for a fact that I'm wrong? Or can you only think I'm wrong?
It's that simple. And you're smart enough to be aware of it. Just take a break think it over and come back.

Well I haven’t seen anything from Joe that betrays his knowingly telling lies. At face value he believes what he says - he’s exactly the type of guy that would. I know you think he’s basically Jude Law’s character from Contagion, but I don’t see it that way.

You have said enough to give away that you don’t believe he literally took horse medicine.

You take Joe Rogan at his word. You interpret mine to say I'm lying and put words in my mouth.

It's fine, you're free to do it.

Just as I'm free to say that Joe Rogan took Ivermectin.
Ivermectin is a cow and horse dewormer.

Ivermectin is a cow and horse dewormer.
Final thing: if someone takes a formulated-for-humans variant of ivermectin to treat some parasitic infection in accordance with the drug’s actual intended use, would you then accuse them of having taken horse medicine?

Probably not.

Do you agree that there is a possibility that Rogan took horse dewormer?

Probably not.

Do you agree that there is a possibility that Rogan took horse dewormer?
Of course there is. But me and you are doing very different things.

I take his word on two claims:
1) he took ivermectin
2) he took a drug intended for humans.

You’re picking and choosing based on who her makes him look worse.

So you pick and chose when to take me at my word?
Well geez, am I wrong to do that when you’ve basically said why it’s okay to lie about the thing you’re insisting?

Let me ask you straight:
Do you believe Joe Rogan took horse dewormer?

I am NOT asking whether you believe the combination of “joe took ivermectin” and “ivermectin is often used to treat horses”. Do you believe Joe Rogan took medicine intended for animals?

It's an anti-parasitic, yes.

But remember how all these crazies in America were buying up all the Ivermectin from the animal supplies places? In the form of horse dewormer?

View attachment 1436564

Remember how those people thought they could use Ivermectin against Covid, when it actually does nothing?

Remember when those people who bought the horse dewormer used it on themselves?

Do you think... just MAYBE... that's where the joke came from?

One person in the US ended up in one hospital once, iirc, from using horse de wormer. However there were stories circulating about hospitals being overrun by people who had been poisoned using animal products with Ivermectin. To the point where people were unable to be treated for gunshot wounds.

Those stories were bullshit.

But every major media organisation repeated them and none have corrected them.

If you believed them how are you any different to the people who believe ivermectin cures covid?

If you share them how are you any different to Rogan passing on similar disinformation about its effectiveness?

CNN referred to Rogan use of Ivermectin as "using horse dewormer" even tho he used Ivermectin in products made for humans as part of a treament regime that used a bunch of other drugs as well including monoclonal antibodies iirc.

Again how is this any better than the sort of disinfo he sometimes promotes on his show?

It isn't. If anything there should be a stronger onus on CNN as it pretends to be a legitimate news source.

Again how is this any better than the sort of disinfo he sometimes promotes on his show?
Does it really need to be pointed out to you that saying "haha that guy is dumb for using worming medicine for Covid" and saying "hey use this worming medicine for your Covid" are two COMPLETELY different things? They are opposites.

One causes mild embarrassment and encourages ridicule of people hurting their own health based on garbage "science". The other encourages people to hurt their own health based on garbage science.
