Well, what can I say?
You simply cannot believe this stuff still happens in 2022.
Collingwood Football Club has in its clubhouse 4 teams. AFL mens, AFL Woman, VFL Men and Super Netball Woman.
That sounds like there are a lot of the female persuasion within the walls of CFC and proudly representing CFC.
And yet a senior member of the leading CFC brand constantly gets headlines for disrespecting females. This of course leads to the younger, impressionable members of the AFL CFC team thinking this is the way it’s done.
Well reality hit. It’s unacceptable in 2022. Just like it’s been unacceptable for decades.
If you were involved in any CFC woman’s teams, why would you stay?
The softest of penalties to DeGoey shows you just what the CFC board think of that half of our employees means to them.
Its disgusting.
And only the most sycophantic of followers would defend anything that has happened this week.
We have to do better as a club and a supporter group. We have to make the club understand this is not what we believe our brand stands for.

You write as if you truly believe the women have no such behaviour going on in their ranks or skeletons in closets. Given the revelations of grooming and sexual assualt in the Matilda's changerooms how can you be so sure similar things have not happened in our females inner sanctum? I have heard rumours about grooming but true to form our media would never wish to create headlines which reflect negatively on our girls.

How can you live on this planet and write as though every woman is a sexually fragile, innocent Saint who will need the fainting couch after hearing Ginnivan rated theoretical women or Degoey touched his gf's boob?

Have you ever been near a gang of females out and about on a hens night with their dick shaped straws and dick shaped everything, drunk, loud and lewd or don't they count as women?

They are no better or more moral than the average bloke but we carry on as if they are children needing our guidance and protection 24/7.

Our club has done all in its power to bring women's teams on board and I'm yet to hear a thank you. It's usually A "how shameful it took so long" or "why aren't we paid the same as the men? " five minutes after they arrive.

Can you link me to a female player or committee member who has issued a public thanks for all of the work done by mostly men to set up a women's league at the elite level supplemented to the tune of tens of millions big dollars on the back of the men's blood ,sweat and tears while they develop into players worth paying to watch and still it's we want more and you attacking the club for not punishing a man who did nothing wrong but may have offended the sensibilities of some female netballers or footballers who have done the very same thing.

Jordy didn’t break a law or offend anybody. So in terms of society he did nothing wrong. He’s been held to a higher standard than regular people because he plays for Collingwood.

The Club should have stated…we have investigated the issue & there is no case to answer for the players. No more comment on this.
Now they have created a situation where some of the blame is pushed back to JDG for this.
The Club have indirectly linked the 2 issues.
Poorly handled.
