I’ll back my eye test and knowledge of the role he’s playing over your champion data stats every day of the week thanks.

Again, with the ‘why isn’t he getting pure role numbers’ questions. If you can’t get your head around it, that’s nobody’s problem but your own sweetie.

Are you a flat earther luv?

No cutie. I trust my eyes when I look and see a horizon, knowing the curvature of the earth is preventing me from seeing land any further away, despite some clowns trying to tell me that it’s the edge of the earth and I might fall off if I go too far.

Just like I trust my eyes when I see that JDG is a valuable player, despite some clown trying to tell me that he’s not, by throwing around numbers without context.

I have never said he wasnt valuable and have said that I would be willing to pay him 600-650k a year. Which is a very valuable players price.

But let's not have silly things like facts and proof and evidence convince you of things, it's your eyes that know the truth.

You haven’t actually provided any facts. You’ve provided some numbers with no context some of them from an incredibly questionable source (player ratings) and your interpretation of them, upon which you’ve formed an opinion.

Please don’t confuse these as any one of facts, proof, or evidence.

Those stats are as close to proof of DeGoeys value as anything.

If he was so damaging his champion data scoring would be higher. It gives bonuses for score involvements, inside 50s and assists. If he was so good at kicking goals, he would have more of them, if he could win more contested ball, he would get more possessions, if he could tackle more, he would have more tackles. His disposal efficiency is at 70%. All of these things clearly do not point to a top 20 player in this competition. He may be top 50, but barely.

Does he deserve more money than McKay, King, Hawkins, Cameron, Neale, May, Martin, Petracca, Oliver, Gawn, C Mills, Miller, Kelly, Wines, Bolton, Steele, Walsh, Cripps, Bont, Macrae, B Smith, Naughton, Sicily, T Lynch, Fyfe, Vlaustuin, Grimes, Moore, McGovern, Parish, Merrett, Stewart...
I mean I could go on. All of these players have considerably more runs on the board and are consistent high performing players who have reached heights far greater than DeGoey.

DeGoey coping it from Kane Cornes on Sen this morning, on his going to Bali for a 4 day mid season break

Rather ironic, wasn't there a volKANEo on a Bali trip that caused DeGoey to miss part of a preseason once?
Old Kane-o milks the Pies because he knows that gets attention/clicks.

Never trust a professional athlete who gets skinnier in retirement. Reveals a fundamentally flawed character.

35th is actually good huh? What about the goal scoring stats? If he plays forward of the ball so much, why is he kicking 1 goal a game?

So essentially the only thing that can actually show how good DeGoey is, and how he is a top 25 player in the comp, deserving of 800k a season, is your eye test and opinion of the role he is playing.

Sweet. Shame we didn't have your genius around in the 2020 trade period.

De Goey is having a good season. Blind Freddy can see that.

Get over it and move on.

We can’t control where players holiday.

Cornes has actually done us a favour here, provided JDG hears about it, he will now have it on his mind not to play up too badly knowing that the vultures back home are waiting.

I just don’t understand the logic behind him being more likely to get in a punch up in Bali than here. Less people will hassle him there as less people know who he is and if he is going to instigate a fight in Bali he would also do it on the Gold Coast or Cairns
Probably less about the relative lack of availability of punch-up opportunities and more about the 5 or 6 degree difference in temperature between the GC and Bali at this time of year.

Who are the other 19?

I would think they would come from the list I provided earlier-

McKay, King, Hawkins, J Cameron, C Cameron, Neale, May, Martin, Petracca, Oliver, Gawn, C Mills, Miller, Kelly, Wines, Bolton, Steele, Walsh, Cripps, Bont, Macrae, B Smith, Naughton, Sicily, T Lynch, Fyfe, Vlaustuin, Grimes, Moore, McGovern, Parish, Merrett, Stewart...

All significantly more proven and better players than DeGoey.

Kane's just tapping into the ugly Aussie in Bali stereotype. And let's face it, it is a hard-earned, deserved stereotype.

He sure is. We would be 4-6 spots lower on the ladder if he was not playing this year. We couldn’t even beat WC without him. Look at the emergencies from last week plus Callum Brown as possibilities to see who would b playing in his spot.

His season is looking pretty good so far
