It seems like most on here are talking about the form of Mitchell, Adams, etc. I don't think JDG has performed to his potential at all this year. He needs to pull his finger out. We are paying him a high salary to perform at an elite level and he is not doing that at the moment.

I thought he was great before his suspension, but he's been ordinary since.
We need him to lift.

Training load in July was apparently heavy. Expect them to come good over the next two weeks and onwards.

In the presser released today (below) Fly does mention that we've had an increased load recently, but is very quick to shut down any suggestion that this is the issue. I think that he's just playing it down because he doesn't like that kind of mindset of blaming things like that, personally. No way to know truly.

I thought that despite being on one leg he helped. When Dangerfield started to get on top at the beginning of the 4th quarter, De Goey stepped up to take him and slowed him down

JDG is not one I am worried about. He is building nicely and will perform on the big stage, when it counts. His demeanour this season is much more mature and measured and I suspect he will explode come finals!
