We chased him last time and got rebuffed as Sweet could probably see he would be stuck behind Naitanui at the time. Today we would come in offering him the 1st choice ruck role for sure and more then likely a 3 year deal too so would be hard to see him turning it down

Look purely at his VFL stats, they've been on a steady curve upwards and looks to have improved with age. Big fella might just be a late bloomer too.

Yeah, I think he's about 25 and really coming into his own. Big unit, his craft has steadily developed, and so has his ability around the ground.

Apparently Port have softened on him. Think he's 50/50 to stay at this stage.

I imagine the Swans will be interested if we don’t land Grundy (who I think is a long shot). It helps that he had a solid game against us in the VFL six or so weeks ago.

He'd get games as I expect Stanley to be winding down, and I doubt Conway could carry the full-time ruck load in 2024 yet.
