One could argue Dogs fans are forgetting Dunkley doesn't have a contract to play for them either, irrespective of what happens he is leaving.

He will get to the Lions, and Dogs will get less than they think he is worth. (any other outcome risks the AFL's entire draft/contract system)

It’s a future late first and a pick downgrade. Brisbane’s asking for 30 and 39 for 21, which comes out net your favour points wise. Dunkley and a points upgrade for a future first, yeah that’s a spit in the face.
