No! lets ignore all the land destroyed in digging up toxic rare earthed materials and toxic waste materials left over from the refining the product that ends up back in the ground. lets talk about whet happens after a solar panel has had its short life

They cant be recycled eh?

Commercially ?

Another case of recyclables piling up in warehouses ?
Most of a solar panel can be reused, if governments have any sense they can just stockpile them in a part of a tip that can be accessed when its economically advantaged to do so.

How much coal / gas / petrol is recycled?

The only problem is not coming clean about it & thats on the recycling industry & the regulators.
When the Chinese Sword fell, both the industry & the regulators knew about warehouses full of 'the product'/ comingled recyclables long before SKM hit the wall In Vic, Tas & SA.
Not good enough.

& plastic can be recycled too, at least in theory, if not commercially:

This is exactly what has been happening there. Surely someone has told Ms Plibersek has quoted her a price per kilo .... I fear not.

Keith Pitt is no longer in Government, the royalties continue to flow & support services to the taxpayers.

'Soaring coal prices and the Palaszcuzk government’s new royalty regime are expected to deliver a budget boost of $8 billion more in coal royalties than forecast in last June’s budget, according to the Queensland Resources Council.'

As we all know Royalties are paid to the States.
