Port Adelaide (Kenny's Clay):

0-50 Games: 25 Players or 54.34%
51-100 Games: 7 Players or 15.22%
101-150 Games: 6 Players or 13.04%
151-200 Games: 4 Players or 8.70%
201-250 Games: 2 Players or 4.35%
251+ Games: 2 Players or 4.35%

It is clear from this list that Port Adelaide has invested heavily in it's youth (youf) and has left their playing
futures in the hands of master potter Ken Hinkley. What will emerge from the potter's wheel what will be
made of "Kenny's Clay".

Not really the correct picture.
He wasted a squad capable of winning the flag, alienated players that we ended up selling on the cheap and is now trying to hide behind a 'yoof' screen.
we ain't falling for it, his record does not deserve another year (or even last year), let alone an extension.

The worst outcome is that he gets to fail again with the new crop!

The people hate him. If it were a General Election he would have been voted out in a landslide. Unfortunately our board is full of idiots controlled by the AFL and they are the ones who gave him this ridiculous contract/tenure. Only 2 of our board are member elected. The members have no power. The only thing we can do is withdraw our support to show our dissatisfaction by cancelling memberships or not attending games. It hurts the club but there is little else we can do.
Those same idiots would be selecting the new coach and who is to say the new person would not just be another
snake oil salesman with the gift of the gab and a fancy power point presentation.

Would love him at Geelong as head coach. He has consistently brought Port into the top in 10. A club that is avg 14th at best

Port have only ever finished 14th or below 3 times in 150 years!
(3 times in the past 23 of AFL).

You can have him! Please!

We know for a fact the current one is.

There are not a lot of things that Adelaide and Port Adelaide have in common, but inept Chairmen and board members are one. Both clubs are the same in that regard. Just goes to show that the AFL do everything in their power to stop the South Australian clubs from thriving.

At least they would have nobody to blame but themselves. Currently, this is not the case. Neither team in SA can elect the chairperson or most members of the board, the people who are given the job to make those decisions. Therefore, people like Hinkley(and Pyke, and Burton and Camporeale) are just thrust upon them. This is why Port and Crows supporters get annoyed as much as anything.

12-14-12-10-14-12-11 wins for Kern.

Numbers can be deceiving though, 2013/14 Port were stronger than the 2017 version. In 2014 Port flogged Richmond, rolled a 16 win Freo in Perth then lost to 3peat Hawthorn by 3 points in a prelim. They were a seriously good 5th placed side.

I kind of feel the worst result is another 12/13 win season. The list is very different with Boak, Gray etc. past their prime and plenty of young kids in the 22 but you really want to see them improve to challenge the top 4 or go backwards then in a new direction (bye Kern). Scrapping to another 6th/7th placed finish and not progressing in the finals doesn't really give much of an indication that the team is out of the holding pattern.

Leaving an AGM before question time with the excuse "goto go to Donna's birthday" is insulting to supporters, driven by Koch to minimise how much Ken talks at club events due to supporter distaste, but even more pathetic, he agreed to it! Reflects the state of the clubs board and Hinkley. Sack the spud and Geelong can have him...

I’d rather pay for the privilege of watching a demented old lady suck the coconut off a Home Brand™ lamington than attend our matches these days.

Sack the incompetent so-and-so aieady.

That was a bloody strange prelim in 2014. Port dominated the first quarter but kicked inaccurately and blew their dominance, Hawks controlled the next two and a half quarters and then Port came back in the last ten minutes and almost snatched it.

On the surface those numbers aren’t too bad, but the main issue is to have no won a final in 5 seasons and played in 1 losing final in that time is unacceptable. Hinkley was given the keys to the car, he went out and traded in Ryder, Dixon, Watts, Rockliff, Motlop and other fringe players that ended up being busts. He’s pissed away the best years of Boak and Gray and has traded away some of the best young talent on the list for reasons unknown. He’s also has had a rotating cast of assistant coaches with the same results.

Somewhere between 2018 and 2019 we were all of a sudden in a rebuild despite pumping games into the likes of Broadbent (29, retired and playing SANFL now) and Sam Gray (28, delisted now in Sydney) while not giving opportunities to young players like Garner and Farrell that have been showing potential in the SANFL. The refusal to give guys like Marshall (21) an extended run in the team in this phantom rebuild despite having next to no KPF depth and losing multiple games (see Richmond & GWS games where Grimes and Davis racked up 6 Brownlow votes) show his utter incompetence as a head coach. The man has been at the helm of the club that has turned its list over close to 3 times in the past 6 seasons. This fool should not be entrusted with another rebuild.
