ROFLMAO ...

Yeah you are right. Same as Crawford also, which is why they have played him off the bench throughout his career.

YOU STUPID MORON. Franklin has the best endurance at the club behind Tim 'The Running Man' Clarke.

On your period or something? Calm down man.

Franklin would not have the work ethic to play a CHF role anyway.

Off the field- I'd love to party on the Persian Rugs with buddy, don't get me wrong.
On the field- Travis! B&F in a top 4 side. How old is he again? Buddy is great, but Cloke is an absolute gun. Hope he becomes captain.

Yeah I am hungover sorry mate. :)

Dude Franklin has an enormous engine. Bigger than Clokes by far, and I am not a one eyed poster, it is just the facts.

I disagree with that. But anyway, lets just say its true, he doesn't utilise that tool anyway.

And you said Franklin has the second best endurance besides Tim Clarke.....I'd question that too. Chance Bateman?

Yeah I know it is hard with this stuff because the there is about 20 guys at each club that is supposed to have the best engine. In reality he has shown himself to be a burst player, but he has also proven at times when moved into the midfield that he rarely slows down. Who knows?

I think it is safe to say they both have good engines but I prefer Buddy at FF anyway.

happy with trav, not gonna say he is better than franklin cause they are Differnt, besides we have reid (similar to buddy), Rusling and dawes nothing to worry bout

Travis Cloke? Brad Fisher kicked more goals from less games and had better stats than him in '07

Buddy will kick 10+ goals in a game several times in his career. Cloke is a top shelf player, not disputing that. But does not have that in him to do it once, even if he kicked straight.

Who?????
WHO is this Fisher gimp???

Same bloke who kicked more goals in 19 games than your B&F winner could manage in 22. Averged higher stats, over games played as well. And he is only our #3 forward.

B. Fisher
2007 Home & Away Totals
Matches: 19

Kicks: 195

T.Cloke

Na, haven't heard of him. Another Carlton superstar. Wiggins, Sporn, Jimmy Plunkett, Murry Vance, Luke Livingston, Adrain Deluca, Some Gimp called Fisher.

Wouldn't get a game in the powerhouse team that was Collingwood circa mid-late 90s.

(Do you honestly believe that anyone, yourself included, would take Fisher over Cloke????)

Good on Cloke for winning the B&F, but it ultimately means nothing for this comparison.

Based on stats and how they both played during the year, Buddy wins out by a mile. If Buddy had have kicked straight, he could have snagged 100 goals.

ffs, I would take Roughead over Cloke anyday.

Fisher is 22, Cloke is 20

Genius

Not saying I wouldn't take T.Cloke over Fisher, we could use a CHF. Just pointing out that Cloke only compares to our 3rd tall on performance in 07 and is silly to even compare him to Franklin based on Cloke's best year so far.

Yep, got my vote.
I've put his name forward on another thread titled: AFL's best forward.
Thinking of running a poll too....

Cloke is not even close to being in the top 10 AFL forwards yet. Neither is Fisher, is only a tall flanker at the end of the day, but on performance so far Fish is there abouts with T Cloke.

Rocca is still more valuable to the Wobblies flag chances than T Cloke.

Travis Cloke is going to be a much better footballer than Fisher.

Trav Cloke is a star. A very good player, good lead, but also a very selfish player who can't kick straight for his life.
Buddy Franklin is a superstar, only been in the competition a couple of years. Great overhead mark, big kick... more accurate than Cloke. There really is no comparison, I think only Collingwood supporters would say Cloke is better than Franklin. Cloke has some parts of his game that are better than Franklin's but overall, Buddy is way better.
If I was presented with the option of Cloke or Franklin, I would take Franklin in a flash.
