This award is going to someone who is ever the voice of reason, who picks up on the idiosyncrasies of her teammates (AND NEVER FORGETS), and who made a leap of faith to join the Las Vegas Bears this season. Ever since, we've been reaping the joys of having @MWPP around, as she pokes fun, takes on rivals, and helps perpetuate the team spirit for which the Bears are known. You've fitted in superbly and so long as you don't go near the hi-fi system you'll sure have a vital place here in Vegas- on ya mwerp!!

TWO accounts of Round 12 have been collated!!!!












Round 12 seen the Bears reluctantly travel down stairs to the Swamplands of Underground Stadium.

After a 7 goal opening term thanks to the likes of Jez, Reggie and Magdaddy it looked as though the Bears were going to run away with this one. Unfortunately just like a good swampshake, it turned sour.

In the second quarter the Rats managed to nibble away at the margin to bring it back to 4 points at the half time break. If not for the lively Xenxen and the complete dominance in the ruck by Dav the Rats would certainly have been in front.

The third quarter seen the Bears lead disappear quicker than TigerTurbulances body fat. Tommycash tried to rally the troops but to the Rats credit they started to make use of the clear advantage they had at their disposal.....Their terrible odour! They stunk! That #swamplife has not been kind to them. Testie and MWPP ran hard all day but it makes it hard when you're running around with hazmat suits on because of the unsanitary conditions of the Swamp.

In the fourth the Bears kept themselves in it thanks to RookiePick, who had a day to remember but the second half of the term seen the cubs drop off fairly quickly.

This loss really hurt but after a tough day it was great to slip out of our hazmat suits and transition into the showers. Matera was first one in, last one out of course, classic mateflon.
