Facts are McGovern was always playing as a KPD whether Brown went down or not he started there thats a fact maybe watch the game before commenting rather than embarrassing yourself for a lack of knowledge

Just posting facts deal with it.
If you're going to troll Dogs fans go with something better as Brown as West Coast's best defender. Obviously McKenzie is out, but even still McGovern, Hurn and Yeo are better defenders.
Bontempelli, he'll get snavled by one of the rich clubs no doubt about that.
Well done the Dogs.Hes already been extended. Dalh, Rough ,Stringer and Macrea done, they are running out of options to pouch.

That's never a given, to many variables.I'm very confident by the end of next season he will extend again

He's there best tall now isn't he with McKenzie out. Never ideal to lose a key post in the first quarter. McGovern would have been the differance forward with Darling out.tomorrow morning
Adam H said only 'best defender'. Never mentioned KP. Either way, McGovern plays back. Brown was a loss. Any team losses a key defender and they are vulnerable. 3rd tall has to play as the key position player. Then a medium sized player has to take on a 3rd tall and so on.Brown was MacKenzie's replacement - FACT.
How you can suggest Hurn and Yeo are viable KPD options is hilarious.
Both will probably be asked to play tall but they're not KPDs, Brown is.
This was your Post
Brown getting injured had not the slightest bit of influence on where McGovern played he was playing back all game whether Brown got injured or not.
You can say what if this player was there and that player was there at the end of the day you beat who you play next you will be saying if Cox or Glass hadn't retired.
Your also forgetting that the dogs were without one of the best inside mids in the competition also love the fact you've taken half a day to think of a reply.
Dumb statements and your are not in anyway making statements more intelligent as you continue, maybe you should stop before you show even less intelligence.
Go attack your supporter that posted that if you kicked straight you would have won by ten goals. To put it simply the WC were without there 2 starting key defenders and to make it worse they lost the third one that started on Stringer before quarter time. McGovern was forced to play back and they were also missing there gun key forward in Darling.
Schofield is not their second KPD he is more their third tall defender. McGovern WAS always playing back from 1st minute of the game did you even watch it???
Saying if this or that player played is not fact it's what if, saying we had 27 shots to 17 is a fact! West Coast kicked incredibly straight.
Looking at the average most teams kicked at in round 1 was around 50-50 between goals and behinds West Coast kicked at 82.35% conversion rate, the next best were Crows and Dons at 60% West Coast goal kicking conversion is the only thing that kept them in it had they kicked at the average conversion rate they would have lost by 5 goals plus that is a fact with statistics not a what if.
May be wrong but talk before the game was Schofield was available but needed a week in the Wafl, but if you want to go on what if's then West Coast was missing Darling Schofield and Mckenzie, Dogs were without Libba Hunter Biggs Hrovat.
If you want an intelligent discussion then have one but your being a troll or maybe it's just you are not capable of an intelligent conversation

Why do you care?
...you are a Saints "supporter", aren't you?
Why did McGovern start back, think about it.
Who went to Stringer after Brown went down?
Hrovat Biggs???? and Hunter were all available.
That's never a given, to many variables.
Yes there's certainly variables there as well but if he gets offered a shed load he'd be silly not to take it and secure his future. But its a given he'll leave for a rich club? No variables there?

I did no such thing. I'm just pointing out errors in logic and/or truth. It's not very gracious to blame a loss on an injury to a mid level player, even if he's structurally important. It's worse for a rival fan to come in and say that and also pump up that player.
That's right.Same can be said for every player in the league?
