Something I am wondering? At the EGM will we have an independent returning officer and who appoints them. For the votes it is so important that everything is transparent and correct. How will the proxies be counted and verified? Will their be scrutineers. Any whiff of dodgy practices could set us back for years.

WE MUST GET IT RIGHT
Please I wrote this last week I need to know, proxies can be manipulated. We are already starting to see signs of it. How is this going to be controlled?

Really? Wow. I'm literally gobsmacked.

Can anyone confirm their membership number was prefilled on the proxy?
Mine wasn't filled on either of his versions. But there was a member number filled under Henry's name and address, 81008 - I assume that's Pinskier's?

not mine, just his number

So we can add another item to the list of questions that Henry Pinskier will probably avoid answering at all costs...

1. Where did you get the member database from?
2. Why won't you provide a statutory declaration showing who you will vote for with members proxies?
3. Can you 100 percent guarantee you will attend the EGM instead of not showing up and conveniently allowing your proxies to go to Angus Johnson by default?
4. How do you know the venue and time of the EGM despite this information not being made public yet?

Seems like a Mugabe style election

I have a feeling this is going to go horribly wrong. Whilst we are grossly over informed, 95% of members are not, I have family who are die hard lions fans who don't know what's going on or who to vote for, thats why this guy is just mindlessly associating himself with Leigh - so people throw him proxies. it will work, he will get 10% out of confusion. this thing is headed for disaster - only one way to beat Leigh and that's play dirty, and that's what they have done - a confusion campaign that could likely save the incumbent.

What a disgrace.

Hey sportsfans,

Saw some amusing claims on this sometimes excitable board and from the increasingly desperate Williams/Power bloc.

1) That our proxy form had a prefilled membership # - Yeh it's mine. My membership number is no secret, to me.

2) That we haven't said which directors we'd vote for - not the case. We'll vote against directors at the EGM. All of them. Included those proposed by Williams/Power, including Williams and Power and including the enemies of Williams and Power

3) That we had secret details of the not-so-secret EGM. The date of EGM was announced some time ago, one of our volunteers rang the Club and asked when in the day and whether it would be at the Gabba which was the usual venue. He was told it would be at 6pm and at the Convention Centre.

I know The Lions' Roar has been caught out and a bit embarrassed about being exposed as a vehicle effectively owned by the Williams/Power bloc but that doesn't mean they should judge our group by their standards.

I'll be sure to update our members and supporters with this tomorrow.

Peace,

I'm not sure that this has happened has it? I've been following this saga pretty closely and I don't really remember ever seeing any evidence of this. Could you post a link or something?

Also, where did you get your mailing list from?

1. Answered in FAQ on our Restore the Lions' Pride website - we created it from a wide variety of online sources include social media.
2. Weird question because you cannot swear a statutory declaration about a future event. But my voting intention is very clear on all resolutions and is very explicitly dealt with on our website.
3. Yes. You couldn't keep me away.
4. We rang the Club and asked. I don't think it was a secret at all. The media knew all about it too, as did the Williams/Power bloc and Chairman Angus and his cronies.

What about when they Tweeted this afternoon urging proxies be sent to Paul Williams, I think that might be considered evidence.

Answered at length on our magnificent Restore the Lions' Pride website.

I'm glad you just made it abundantly clear that you will be voting against Leigh Matthews. Now nobody else has to assume anything.

FWIW, when I opened the proxy form, my membership number was already contained on the form.

When checking with other family and friends, about half also had their membership number on it and half didn't. I'm absolutely filthy at what other details this muppet has and I've no doubt that he is somehow intrinsically linked with Angus Johnson.

If you read this Henry Pinskier please F off you unethical prick and start actually answering emails and disclosing who you are, what your agenda is and where in the hell you got my and a lot of other people's personal details. God help you if I ever see stumble across your smarmy head you ******.

Please produce this proxy form that contained your membership number. If you look carefully, you might see it contains mine not anyone else's.
