Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

I was more saying hopefully all our 17,000 have gone so none were going back to collingwood.

There are Brisbane based Collingwood fans with Lions full season memberships.

As I mentioned earlier, I personally know 3 Brisbane based Richmond members who also have Lions season and September memberships and got tickets in our ballot and are going down for the game.

Is anyone trusting Jetstar flights out of curiosity?

Just had a MEL->ADL delayed by almost an hour and a half due to issues with the connecting flight. Historically this particular coded flight is about 45mins - 1hour late. If you value your time and sanity, I would avoid at all costs but YMMV.

Would recommend trying Rex as an alternative if possible.

I’m trusting them.. as someone said earlier Qantas is trying to impress, the way there flight hasn’t been cancelled in a long time which is the one I care about, don’t care as much if they shitcan my one home. Delays also don’t bother me too much as I’m flying in tomorrow night, can find another flight worst case.

Fingers crossed it’s smooth sailing!

It’s cost me about $1100 going with Jetstar, if I went with Virgin/Qantas it was heading towards $1600-$2000 which is getting really steep.

Flown a few times with Virgin since then and never had a problem, checked our flight on Friday morning and there are only 4 seats left..... hopefully it is packed with Lions supporters, hey Dalions , maybe you can start the Lions chant mid flight, I'm too socially awkward to dare to do that.

Family has had 2 experiences like that with JetStar, one we were driving to the Brisbane airport and got the text message, the other in the lounge at Alice Springs.

Flown a few times with Virgin since then and never had a problem, checked our flight on Friday morning and there are only 4 seats left..... hopefully it is packed with Lions supporters, hey Dalions , maybe you can start the Lions chant mid flight, I'm too socially awkward to dare to do that.

Everything went through I can see the seat numbers ect.. In ticketek. You press event information to lock tickets.. and it asks the password.
