If they kept the 'PP' logo for promotional purposes, especially marketing focused at children and the like then it could be justified IMO (especially for those that want the design of the guernsey changed).

When they agree to change back the jumper (or at worst, actually agree to ask members and genuine supporters to vote in an authenticated voted system) I will:
a) re-join as a member
b) purchase one of the classic jumpers (once it is voted in, which is virtually guaranteed)

It is amazing value! It just depends how popular ones favourite player is and how rich their fans are. I have been trying to offload my old signed lions guernsey on gumtree to raise some funds to cover medical expenses (I'm an unemployed student who got injured without private health). But after seeing this auction, I have been thinking about putting the potential money, if it sells, towards one of these puppies and just putting off future treatment and medication! sounds reasonable to me!

Lawyers loophole.

The playing version (as opposed to the replica/fan version) of the current jersey has the Fitzroy lion as a watermark doesn't it. This probably counts as 'adornment', you will need to tighten up your wording a little.
