Today's HUN again confirming that Champion Data rate Jack Sinclair elite on the wing. Pretty funny when you consider that most who follow footy wouldn't recognise him if they passed him in the street!
Think most people on here would know who each teams best 22 to 30 players by their number but not all by face so you're probably right

Champion Data also rates jack Higgins as this year’s no.1 draft pick. It isn’t a reliable indicator

Should move into A Grade territory this season Sinclair amazing that he came off the rookie list. Footskills are elite.

You can pull that face, but while it may not happen this year, it's hardly a stretch to suggest that someone who did so well this year that Champion Data rated him as the no.1 best in the comp in that (wing) role for the season- despite being in just his 3rd season, brand new to the role and having played less than 50 games- is certainly on target to get there.

He arguably has as much footy talent/class/poise/skill as anyone on our list, including his great mate Billings, and he has the elite endurance that you need for the wings in particular, so I'd actually be pretty disappointed if he doesn't at least get close to that level in the not too distant future.

People can mock CD and their ratings, but they're the ones who watch and analyse every single disposal they have throughout the season, and what impact/effect they have, and directly compare it with others who play the same role, so chances are they have a better idea than most as to how good someone is, especially if they're not someone that those who barrack for another team aren't likely to be paying much attention to, if they have a low profile.

It excludes bias, its just a statistical indicator, but it misses a lot of intangibles. Still, good for the Tigers that we picked up some who by their measure was the top player.

in b4 Sinclair becomes A grade and everyone has egg on their face.
I'm expecting plenty of egg on faces in the years to come if these reactions to him are anything to go by. NFI going on in here if anyone's laughing at him.

It's been extremely obvious to those of us who barrack for St Kilda how much class, poise, balance, footy smarts and skill he had right from his first couple of games (hence him playing every game in his first year when available (missed 1 when he had to go back on the rookie list for a week) and coming 3rd in our goalkicking) and now he's building a genuinely elite tank and is getting to play a role that is much more suited to his attributes.

Kicks ass when played in the middle in the VFL and had a game-high 15 contested possessions against Richmond in R23 this year (despite playing the whole game on the wing and forward), so also has the scope to go inside, as he gets stronger.

It's funny how being outside has kind of become a derogatory term.

There's different types of courage, personally I'd rather back into a pack than run lap sprints.

Also outside types rely on inside players to get them the ball, often if they have a bad game it's because no one gets the ball to them. But players like Hill Smith and Suckling were vital in the 3peat.
