Freo are bringing in Luke Jackson on massive money and still need to sign up some of their young guns on their list down the track.

I think it's a good strategic move by them to move Logue, Acres and Lobb on.

If we're into him, the deal is done.

I hadn't realised what a big unit he is....189cm, 91kg.

Soon to be 27yo, 120 games under his belt = prime time.

Didn't see much of the game last night, but he was one of the major ball winners I see....
He was Freos best by a margin. Some of his body work was great with a few Cripps style hip and shoulders to win the ball.

His kickings not elite and he can blast it high but our current wings do that too, he's just an upgrade in regards to all the rest of his game. Gets back in defence and impacts too

It’s a really interesting situation. Acres reminds me abit of Touhy where they probably think that can do without but at the end of the day they look like they are giving away a good player for not much.

Josh Corbett might be worth having a chat to this off season. Handy option as a third tall up forward.

James Bell uncontracted at Sydney - behind Papley, Gulden, Hayward …

Fremantle just made a second SF...
Something smelly must be happening there...
If the reported Acres, Henry, Lobb, Logue and Meek + possible others want out...

You wouldn't think they'd need to lose that many for Jackson...

Low ball offers to Acres & Logue = seed planted but still TBC. Lobb wants out for a return east (partner).
Henry not getting a game. Meek, if Jackson arrives, falls down the pecking order.
Maybe there’s more coming back to WA than just Jackson?

Was thinking about the Collingwood round 23 game...

We need to find a new role for Walsh, instead of playing 5 forwards and Walsh pushing into the midfield...
Walsh and Cerra may need to alternate between the wing and inside...

IMO, our forward line looked so much better and functioned (excluding goal kicking) holding 6 forwards...
Also allowed us to play a defensive forward on a Daicos type....

FB: Boyd - Weitering - McGovern
HB: Williams - Young - Saad

C: Acres- Cripps - Walsh
F: Pittonet - Hewett - Cerra

HF: Fisher - McKay - Durdin/ (Lockdown Forward)
FF: Motlop - TDK/ (2nd Ruck) - Curnow

B: Docherty (Mid&Def) - Kennedy (Mid&Fwd) - Marchbank/JSOS - Newman

Sean Darcy? Some chatter he may be interested in moving...not sure if credible or not.
